  1. Put it this way... my first intro to the track was one of these days, I've never looked back. The bug will bite, it will bite hard. Don't think about it, if you can afford it, do it. Procrastinating just means you'll never get out there
  2. To be honest guys, a day like this is perfect for you. Wayne, I've seen you driving in the hills, you are a competent driver, this is the day for you. You won't be pushing 10/10th's and you will learn SO SO much about your car. Dion, can't speak for you but if you're competent in the hills, same advice This is a fantastic day guys and I highly recommend it to those who haven't seen trackside yet are still competent/comfortable drivers. You won't be disappointed! I'm hoping to make the day myself however between buying a house, paying for a new ute and other things, funds are a little tight at the moment but I'll be working the next two weekends straight to cover it
  3. Kim, I'll be getting Reuben to check the accounts and will update the list as soon as I have confirmed with him. I definitely recommend the High Performance day that Kim posted above especially if you haven't been out before. You may think that $425 is a lot of money and you would be right but what you learn on the day is invaluable and will definately come in handy for our full blown track day in April
  4. Spotted Ruby on the way to work this morning on South Rd
  5. Ok, I've read all this crap, enough. I'll be closing this thread. I think it has run its course. If the OP want it opened again, shoot a PM my way
  6. There's only a few weeks left for you to get your deposits in. If you don't get in before the 1st of March, it becomes first come first serve basis so make sure you pay before the deadline
  7. No offence Mitch, but it seems you're a little stubborn. I don't know your exact situation but it seems you have no job, no source of income yet you seem to be constantly tinkering with your car which costs $$ and ends up costing you more $$$ with problems like a defect. My advice to you, and please don't take it the wrong way is to sell the car, get yourself back on your feet then look at buying another car. It's not worth running yourself into the ground over, cars can always be replaced mate, your sanity and financial well being on the otherhand can be a little more difficult. It's a simple case of trimming the fat. We all know these cars are expensive, do the math, I think you'll come to the same conclusion too. Just me friendly advice, take it for what it's worth
  8. Same here
  9. Too easy. Just SMS'ed Kim, when I know, you will
  10. Wayne, these aren't available on the Mallala website... visit the John Bowe site for public days. I know for a fact that Kim is in the middle or organising another of these days in the coming months. Stay tuned, I'll get him to post it up here If interest is there I'll launch another High Performance day with Kim also
  11. Probably will be
  12. Will be there till early next week
  13. Will do If you stop by his workshop in the next few days my car is in there getting a few upgrades too, have a gander
  14. Rhemac
  15. Shit, totally forgot about that! Looks like I'll be playing that tomorrow after work!
  16. I'd be hitting up Rhemac. I've not dealt with them personally but know a few people who have and not a bad thing to say and awesome engines to boot. Honestly though, go to a couple of places and speak with the people, that's the best way to get a read on them, see what they offer, how much, etc and make your choice from there
  17. Krishy, done! Also updated the list with those paid. Thanks Ruby for the list
  18. He managed two laps then heat caused the loom to melt, short out the computer and take injector #4 along with it. So he was slightly pissed but still better to happen now than on a comp. Looked/sounded awesome out there though. Definitely a lot of potential!
  19. Ok, I won't
  20. I'll lay off him now, he knows he's still loved
  21. Starcorps
  22. $10k. Dave, are they Starcorps?
  23. Well done guys! Surprising the downforce actually bent the bootlid, that's some impressive force!
  24. Love you
  25. Are they Starcorps? Oh snap...
