  4. ok, i thought i'd get my arse into gear and post some more progression pictures. As stands now i have finished up fixing and painting the engine bay, put back all the standard wiring looms, re-installed most of the accessiories, put together all the interia behind dash bits (need a new dash so thats not going bak in just yet), um then i put the engine in to find that it sits a good 2-3 inchs too high i got to drop the cross-members and swap em over, on a benifit looks like i may have sold the old shell just got to rip a few more parts off it. i was too lazy to take photos of the car with the engine in and i still got to fix up the dash pad support rail but heres some pics.
  5. hey yeh it was on the 33, i was really really pissed off when it happened, it was parked outside my old work when i was working, tried to make em pay for it cause they couldnt provide a safe place to park but they ended up denying it so i had to fork out to get it done grrrrrr arseholes, looks like i just sold that car today so now i got some driveway space to finish my new one
  6. most places tune it off the handset or at least do the road tune off the hand set for finial adjestments, as for places to get it tunned i got mine done at mahnkinn dyno tunning in morrabbin cause i know the guys there threw work they did an excellent job on mine, they get a few gtr's and stuff threw so they know a bit about skylines, otherwise the major microtech tunner around melb is rank rotaries they are ment to be really good. Hope that helps Cheers Jarrod
  7. well i bought i shell which all the wiring was burnt, and im swapping my looms over although the new car has abs and air bags and mine didn't, i've located and wired up most of the airbag loom just need to find out where the wires go out of the internal wiring loom and into the engine bay loom and into the sensors, as all this wiring was melted beyond recognition so i cant just manually trace them i need to know where the end side is so i can finish wiring in the loom. I havent started looking at the abs but i think i have all the wiring sorted out but there may be 1 or 2 wires im not sure where go.
  8. can anyone tell me weather its in a greogry or some manual or something im willing to pay for it, im desparate

  10. fpr's are also great if you buy injectors that are too big they can help down tune them so you dont over fuel the car, wont people dont look at it that way but they can help out there, hope that helps

  14. well my shell is from a 97 turbo model and my engine is from my 94 na+t, i wouldnt know where to start to fabricate the mounts, looking at them they look like the engine would sit in the right spot but it doesnt it sits way higher so much so the bonnet wouldnt be able to close
  15. ok, well in the haste of getting lots and lots done on my car this week, i've finished painting the engine bay got most of the wiring in and the dash pad is ready to go back togther, all the engine lines were placed back ect and i was all ready to dump the motor in on thursday but after a long time fiddeling with it on the engine crane we couldnt get it to go mount on the engine mounts so wondered what was going on, so i walked over to my other car the one the engine came out of and guess what the engine mounts and lower crossmember are way different, angles and mount types ect now i no theres a lot of people out here who have done engine conversions have any of you ever incountered this problem?? how did you overcome it? because the only way i can think i can fix it is to take the crossmembers out and swap them but that means i gota rip the engine all the way out to swap em and its a big job lol cbfed with it atm but im stuck and nothing else can progress. ps, ill update some pics in my other thread sometime today or tommorow
  16. i duno bout pulsars but with the skylines they come factory 2.25 but a higher flowing 2.25 is great for torque and mid range where-as a 2.5 is better for top end but will suffer in the bottom end, also ontop of the the noise level of a 2.5 is wa louder and more muffling is needed to keep it leagle. i dun think that really helps you much but mabye it gives you an idea, best thing to do is ask a professional exhaust shop and see what they think cheers Jarrod
  17. yea thats them

  24. to remove the fuse box you have to unbolt it, take then turn it upsidedown thentheres clips which all hold the fuses and plugs into the fuse box, you got to unclip all of them then you'll be left with no box and a whole heap of fuse plugs with fues, not sure where you would put them if you wanted to move the box all the wires would have to be extended and that wouldnt be an easy/quick thing to do
