hey i might be able to help you out, i have exhaust and you can borrow a rim if you need it urgently why do you need it??
-
ohh i get ya mavric, thats ok then, i though you were having a go at the work quality. i wouldnt want a staff member telling me to rip it up either unless i was a close mate with them even then on the street i wouldnt do it I would always suggest leaving just a rim or rims there anyways cause then you can put a temp on im sure people on here would leand you some stockies for a week, that way you can keep your car on the roads. rims arnt worth keeping a car off the road. Thanks for clearing that up, i misunderstood what you were saying.

well after a few trys and cheacking out several shells i've finally found one thats actually going to be able to get back on the road. its a 97 r33 series 2 yellow. comes with some nice jap 18 * 9's, momo airbag steering wheel, nismo 300kms dash and a few other gadjets as for what needs to be done there was an electrical fire, and i need to put on new rear bar new tail lights (just swap mine) new front bar new bonnet and new gaurds, and spray all of that, thats all that needs done on the exteria. as for other bits i have to change the complete tail light loom rather easy and the front looms engine and body loom need to be changed over other than that some tyding up, the engine was damaged in the fire so my na +t's going to go in it . i put a doposit on it and have done a vin check and everything all i got to do is pick it up on saturday and get started ill post up pics on saturday ps ive already taken out my engine trans, tail lights, boot loom, engine loom and part of the body loom so im getting a big headstart to getting this on the road

i personally sell thousands of dollars a month to advance alloys, and we get any rims that are damaged fixed there and they are one of the best in the buisness, i dont know what your talking about mavric but im guessing it may have only been a one off situation. Put almost all of the major panel shops in and around the Morabbinn, brighton bayside area send all there stuff there, so that has to mean somthing. i would rekomend them day in and day out just put your stockies on for a couple of days and give em to you When you go down there tell them Jarrod from Robert Lanes sent you down there and they should help you out

My Green 33 N/a - Now Rb25det Conversion
unarmed_skyline replied to H@ME's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
my type s came with the turbo red white badges on it, i did a vin check to find out it was type s, i thought that most of the na's threwout all models 32-34 had the blue badges for na's (i have seen 34 na's with blue badges) and the only time they were changed to red ones is if someone changed them themselves. -

unarmed_skyline replied to H@ME's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
turboing it isnt that hard nor expencive, it can be done on the cheap and provide good power and for less than the cost of dumping in a turbo engine, or you can do it properly and spend a bit more and get some real nice power, pretty much doing the same mods you would do on the turbo engine on a later date, but running a little less boost, although the boost hits way quicker and is a more torque engine with a straigher curve Just think turbo guys change Fuel pump, injectors, front mount, upgraded turbo kit (comes with all lines needed)(wouldnt need as big a turbo so that would save some $$) and some sort of ecu, so turboing your na isnt as expencive as you think as long as you can do some of it yourself. As long as your not looking for over 200kws you shouldnt have to open up the engine and your diff and trans will be up to the task too Lots of info avaliable on turboed your na on this very site have a read if your still interested pm me ill be happy to help theres lots of other people out there that would love to help to, hell if you live in south east melb ill be happy to come down help you out -
Munib, are u sure the car is not going into rich and retard, i had same sort of prob when i had a piggy backed na ecu, microtech solved my dramas but some sort of timing control is akll u might need

I Think Im In Love!
unarmed_skyline replied to lingeringsoul's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I work for a Honda dealer the new tyre r's only came into stocktwo and a half weeks ago in auss, they look absoutly nuts in real life, a bit heavy but the car hadles so soo well, could do with a little more power the early thoughts werfe going to be i-vtec and turbo mmmm woulda been way better. as for price they reatail at 39,990+ on roads. comes only in 18"s cant option different wheels, they only come in 3 colours black silver and red, and as for seats cant remember the brand they arnt recaro but they look way better and are soooo comfy. although all that said i'd take a gtr or even a gtst anyday. stock for stock that is -
mmm i love the idea of the mini pod on the intake box, but would it help any??

if they supplied you with a roadworthy certificate, and if anything doesnt comply with roadworthy standards THEY HAVE TO FIX IT for you and if they dont all you need to do is report it and they will get a HUGE fine, and then random checks on some of there previous road worthied cars, then if they fail, they loose there roadworthy issuing thingy, and lots more fines for them and they have to pay to bring all the cars that failed to road worthy standard
