  1. com'on this car is heaps of fun to drive, im willing to sell it as na for 10K if anyone is interested still very quick when na i only give the car a bit of a squirt every now and agian so it hasnt had a hard life,
  2. Looking to swap my r33 for a cheep reliable manual car, buying a house and cant keep my hobbie up atm. its a 1994 r33 gts, 74xxx kms on the clock I imported it in 2 years ago dead stock have since done Added an r32 turbo running r33 wastegate actuator running 6.5psi boost stock side mount intercooler malpassii rising rate fuel regulator pod filter 2 1/4 cat back exhaust excedy heavy duty clutch whiteline strut brace microtech lt12s ab flug series 2 front bar and r32 ab flug side skirts roh mantis shadow chrome 17" rims warwick alarm and remote central locking reasonably decent stereo system autometer boost and air fuel gauge 600hp fuel pump wallbro i think cant remember turbosmart bleed valve never boosted put it on was going to run 9 psi but tuner decided r32 turbo wasnt worth boosting as i was going to rebuild and high flow my spare 33 turbo and re-tune it then, so it was a better idea me getting used to the power at 6.5 psi as originally i had never driven a turbo car gun metal grey this thing has no lag and pulls right threw the rev range have had it dynoed by two different places one said 130 at the wheels the other said 150 tunned a little richer than optimum because of the high comp motor and stock intercooler With upgraded injectors, high flow r33 turbo and front mount and re-tune could easily hit 200 at the wheels and still have next to no lag, very fun to drive will miss a lot Also have spare parts to be sold with the car 4 original rims with tyres with 50% tread stock front bar full Na induction system resinator air box ecu Na front pipe and exhaust manifold r33 turbo with blown oil seal (bought it second hand only to find oil seal was f*ked but ey no shaft play grrr) r32 10psi wastegate actuator r33 turbo elbow oil cooler and lines mounted on the car but decided to run my oil lines differently so was only fitted for a week oil lines would need to be run differently as set-up is different than what it originally was na ecu Located in melbourne price $13,000 but more interested in swap for a cheap reliable manual car and cash adjustment Email: [email protected] or just pm me
  3. yeh boo hoo to the 32 turbo lol its not pushing as much as when the 33 turbo was on only breifly, grrr i asked for another 33 turbo n what do they do go and put on a 32 turbo get it all running then tell me and say ohh it flows the same grrr bullshit, oh well, after a few weeks of driving the car now im liking the power more and more and figuring the feel out, the kick at 5000rpm aint there with the microtech dunno if thats cause it doesnt have vtc control or cause the vct control has been set up to run like a turbo but it does seem that a 5k the turbo starts to run out of puff and drops a little boost but the car doesnt seem to drop any power and still pulls right out to redline so mabye its a turbo thing i duno, the start up and cold start procedures arnt right get ill have to take it back next week to get them to look at it, other than that my fuel reg is really noisy so im getting that changed under warrenty, but ohh the car is soo much more powerfull now loving it, would love to put a 33 turbo on and cooler and injectors car could prob hit round 180-200 then but im happy with what i got atm lol
  4. what boost are you running to get 160 at the wheels, i was a little dissapointed i only hit 130 but i have a r32 turbo grr 33 one blew up, you have a bigger cooler than i do but that wouldnt really affect the power cept mabye you can up the boost or timing a little, the only other reall difference i have is a microtech sted of power fc and i have an after market fuel reg rather and stock na injectors but they arnt maxxed out yet so they arnt holding my power back any.
  5. have a look at the avo front mount kits they are return piping that you dont need to cut holes for, very good kit piping also comes in black and you can choose black or shinny cooler depending if you want it to look stealth they normallt around $1200 might be able to help you out quite a bit with price if you pm me
  6. hey havent taken it out yet and i cant see a part number on it, ill call nissan tommorow and try get a genuine part number
  7. Are they any good, they come with a decent sized cooler in either silver or balck i think its 400-600-90 or something around that size and they have a U shaped bend on the cooler end tank so the piping uses stock location, they are normally like $1155 but i can get them cheaper threw work wondering if they are worth the money>?
  8. Hey as i've stated im looking for an air con compresser for a series 1 r33 gts, it shat itself making horrible noises if its on im not in a desparate hurry so im not looking to fork out lots of money for it, i have seen them for $100 bucks and less people just throw em away so if you got one you want to get rid of pm me cheers Jarrod
  9. yeh the cars way more fun to drive second gear put the foot down and wheels start spinning Yea i think the dyno was running quite low because the previous dyno tune it was 150 at the wheels at a different place, the exhaust is pretty much stock so thats restricting it and its running only 6.5 psi boost stock r33 actuator on 32 turbo, im getting an avo front mount fit for it soon and then i might up the boost and get a full print out. the car sounds soo nice, instant boost pulls like a train cant feel any lag way better feel than the n/a now just got to do some subsids and ge the power up a bit
  10. hey didnt end up getting a dyno printout cause the printer was broken lol ended up getting less power than i was expecting got 130rwkw at 6.5psi with the 32 turbo fuel reg stock side mount cooler 600hp fuel pump and microtech, the biggest thing holding it bak is the turbo being way to small it starts to run outa puff around 5200 rpm and drops back to around 5psi boost,
  11. ohh ok, i got told ages ago they were physically smaller i couldnt really see why it would be easier for nissan to just make one size outer case then swap the internal
  12. OK i know that the non-turbo r33 diffs are smaller and cant handle as much power as its turbo counter part but i was wondering whats the ratios of the two, will the na accelarate a quicker as it doesnt have a turbo the could have set up the diff to make it a little quicker, and are they a direct swap if you wanted to could you just use the internals or would you have to repalce the other case too???
  13. the head set-ups are different, they have different pistons, valve springs, cams, injectors fuel regulators, other than that not much, pretty much if you are going to up-grade the head in any way it wouldnt matter if you went with a turbo or na head but people always go with the na head cause i ends up with a higher compression ratio i think mainly cause of the pistons, and you wouldnt need forgies if you were building up a stock rb30de you could just use the 25de pistons and get 10.5-11ish:1 comp ratio, biggest prob is high comp forged na pistons are hard to find
  14. hey ok microtech is in and running ohh yay, took all day to get the thing to sensible settings cause supposible microtech loaded the wrong maps on it so the place its at spent all day fiddling with all the settings to get it to a safe drivably setting but they ran out of time to weed out a flat spot threw the middle to high power band so they havent done the final tune and power run, its going back in on tuesday and finilizing the injector pulses and the fuel reg settings and a few other things, then he said he's got to leave the car over night till its dead cold to set the cold start and if he can get it right first go which he only has one chance at he'll give me the car bak wed if not he's got to leave it overnight agian and finilize it on thursday, they are doing an extreemly professional job going threw everything helps that they deal with my work so im getting good prices plus they not stuffing me over cause they do then we stuff em over you know what i mean lol, anyways the place is called mahnkens autotune in moorabbin they do excellent work will let you all know the figures when i get em but omg the car already is driving like a dream
  15. love that bonnet actaully i love the whole car, how much cash adjustment you talking about for a stock bonnet in gunmetal grey just outa curiosity how much is the car selling for??
  16. MICROTECH just turned up grr a week late oh well, cars booked in for the tune on friday yay ill let you know how it all goes then
  17. come on someone make me an offer these prices are flexable
  18. bump anyone interested these actuators are hard to find
  19. As says in the title i have an r32 actuator spring for sale will make an r33 turbo boost up to 10-12 psi great for anyone who wants to boost up their skyline without putting a boost controller on, these are very hard to come buy, reason i got one is cause i turboed my rb25de with a 33 turbo and the turbo ended up having a leaking oil seal and only turbo i could find in good condish to get the car going was an r32 turbo but the actuator spring was set too high so i swapped it with the 33 one. looking for $80 for the actuator they are very hard to come buy im also selling the turbo if anyone is interested it has no actuator and is leaking threw the oil seal great for a high-flow project looking for around $300 without actuator or $320 with r32 actuator not hooked up im located in melbourne neer knox city would prefer pick up
  20. the xf throttle body is a good upgrade not as big as the q45 but bigger than the stocker, doesnt need an adapter plate but you will need to bore out the intake manifold otherwise theres no point just a bigger throttle body going into the same size opening, its not that hard though take the mainfold off then get in there and grind it down
  21. oil and water gallerys show line up pretty right if not perfect from reading around ive never done the conversion but thats what everyone says, although you will either have to blank out the vct, run an external oil line for it or buy an r32 br25de head which doesnt have vct, other than that its all sweet, and yes the rb25de pistons will give you the highest comp i think its around 10.5-11:1 ish a little lower for rb30 and then way to low like 7:1 for 25det pistons, with the rb26 head you will have to modify some parts of the head to get it to fit perfectly but as said earlier it is a better flowing head but you can make the 25 head flow just as well for not much outlay,
  22. ok just pulled off and cleaned my idle control valve was pretty dirty but it didnt seem like it helped at all with anything so i took out the gtst ecu which the car was running like shit on and put my na ecu back on just to test the idle and everything and guess what the car ran perfect so i'd say all it was that the gtst ecu may be damaged or mabye they are not compatable but i doubt that cause the car ran just didnt run to well, oh just means ill have to wait till the microtech comes in put it in then drive the car to the dyno with the base microtech tune no real big loss only that i cant pre book my tune just incase it doesnt show up for a little while hope someones got a spare dyno time next week when it comes in
