  1. yeh im not driving it at the moment i got a mates 73 rolla its got a supercharged mr2 engine in it, its pretty fun to drive lol. i cant wait to get in the skyline agian so much easier to drive smoother and i cant wait to see how this thing is going to go, i havent really had a chance to give it any real stick since i put the turbo on, i had on go and i was getting wheel spin on full throttle when it hit the crazy 5,000 power band really hoping for a fun car.
  2. yay i just picked up my malpassi rising rate fuel reg, that should push the pressure of the injectors up a bit when it goes on the dyno, for anyone who wanted to know the first dyno read out was 149 at the wheels with an r32 ecu +safc 2, didnt touch the ignition timing and it was running really lean and the air flow meter was about to shit itself. now i got a new airflow meter and a fuel reg and the microtech should push it up a bit higher than that, and if i dont have to many bills i might see if i can get a bigger smic mabye a r34 one, i dont want 2 intake mods and atm i like the poddy sound lol, tune still looking at being next week cant wait,
  3. opes i got the cams around the wrong way i knew what i was thinking in my head but not on the car, so it would be possible, would it give many gains thou or would it be just another thing that could go wrong, the out lay doesnt seem that expencive could be done for possibly around $1500 if some of the work was done by yourself, do you know of anyone whos done it before? the car would be able to change the power-ban to a lot higher and pull harder without loosing your idle, it must not be that good an idea if no-one out there is doing it, love to hear from someone whos tried

As you all know on the rb25det's the exhaust cam gear is electronically adjustable and both of the cam gears are idenitcal, so i was wondering if it were possible to use a second adjustable cam gear set up from the exhaust cam and use it to control the intake cam and then hook it up to i think apexi do a cam controler computer or something for like $200. If this were possible would it give you any advantage or and more power?? i guess using it you could set a small cam on idle so it was smooth at idle then later in the rev range open it up more what are your ideas im not thinking about doing it just got into my head the otherday and i was wondering if it were possible
  5. i've been told different things, the standard ecu 2 places told me it will work no probs and 2 places told me that it wont and you need gtst wiring loom, then i've spoken to 2 people on here with power fc's in their na's and they said they work no probs and one person with a link and it works no probs so i went for the plug in loom but if it doesnt work plug in i guess i can get an auto elce to work out which sensor wires are diff and swap the wires on the loom, i havent found a na ecu pin-out anywhere so i cant get any defonate answers,

  7. i was going to get the ecu re-mapped by dr. drift but he was waiting on a dyno and now he's away in tazzie until the 22nd, im still waiting on my micro-tech hopefully it comes this week, i got a mallpassi fuel reg, and am thinking of putting a front mount on if the computer doesnt come this week, as soon as i get it on the dyno ill post up the results

As header says i have an safc 2 series 2 the one with the turnnable knob for sale, it is in perfect condition still on the car so purchiser can see working, i have only had in on for a few weeks got it tunned and found out it doesnt suit my application so im upgrading to a fully after market. i paid $420 for it so looking for around $380, comes with the unit and wiring i lost the books, i live in se melb knox cityish pm me if your interested SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

Just an update, after 2 weeks of looking for a power fc i've given up, and called vpw and ordered in a microtech lt12s plug and play ecu for $1500 only anoying thing is its going to be 2 weeks before i see it grrrr, so the place where my car was at said they dont have enough room to keep it in so i picked it up tonight and its running perfectly but way too lean to be able to drive. just to anyone thinking of doing the turbo conversion make sure you either get an aftermarket ecu or a turbo ecu and a proper piggy back NOT A SAFC as they dont have enough tunnability
  12. no-one has really mentioned the haltech intercepter atm, anyone got any pros-cons on it?? my tunner really doesnt like the emanage ultimate as it seems to be very limited in its tunnabily, they suggest a wolf 3d but im not sure if im up for putting out that much cash.

  16. Anyone used petro-ject fuel rail and 600cc semians injectors in their r33 gtsts? Are they any good?? is it direct replacment as they say?? Did the stock regulator fit??

  18. hey been searching everywhere for a pinnout diagrame for an na r33 ecu anyone know where i can find one only found the turbo one and it doesnt help when i want to do a comparison
  19. i have a safc 2 one of the blue ones thats going to be up for sale, i got it tunned but it doesnt fit my application anymore soo if your looking for one pm me n i might be able to work something out, as for the differences the black and blue are just colours what you prefer, the diff between the safc 2 and the neo is that the neo has more tunning points i think its like 16 points insted of 12 but im unsure on those figures, it would be a good idea for your application espc with the z32 and upgraded fuel pump the car is probably running richer than it should be and this should be able to sort that out, allthough it does has limitations as i have found, it can only alter the fuel maps by i think 15% which is ok it your keeping the car na but when you turbo it like i have with my car its adjustments are limited, and it cannot control timing so you would be able to get more power out of the car but only a limited amount, as for your af gauge reading rich another reason y it might also be running rich all the time is that its pluged into the standard o2 sensor and not a wide band sensor so it wont be reading accurate reading and you cannot tune the car with it, they are mainly there only for looks unless you spend big dollars on accurate sensors and gauge. hope this helps you.
  20. yeh i've turboed my na, and having a few teathing issues, my air flow metre shat its self as they are different between the models, and the ecu is really struggling just keeps leaning out the car even with a safc, my cheapest option is if i can just swap to a turbo ecu n use the safc to tune there but if i have to change the wiring which 3 reputable places that say they have done it before say u have to its not going to be cheaper than say going to dr drift and getting the ecu moddifyed or getting a second hand microtech and hard wiring it then tunning it
  21. i jsut been doing the ring around he whole wiring loom has to be changed cause some of the sensors are in different spots on the loom or something,

  23. mm looks pretty damn obvious doesnt, i thought that it was smaller too, thats y i asked them the question twice, he said the turbo spech said it was the same spechs, mmm i got to go bak anyways ill ask agian mabye the r32 turbo was moddifyed intake chamber or something, ill look at the turbs on the car in the morn as well,
