there is also another way to correct it without sending it for spedo recalibration (very expencive) On my Dads 4by when he got his big wheels the speed was out by 10 or so kms and he bought this little spedo corrector box was bout 100 or 200 bucks and it runs inbetween the speed sensor and the speedo and you can choose how much it manipulats the speed by oh ps he bout my na speedo cluster off me anyways so its not an issue but yeh

hey that topic was covered in the forced induction section bout 2 weeks ago if you do a search in there you'll find a big disscussion but the end conclusion is no putting on 2 pod filters is pointless as your intake can only flow as much as your intake pipe. The only way to get anything out of it in an na format (or would work on twin turbos) would be running 2 pod's into 2 separate intake pipes and then threw 2 throttle bodys into the plenum chamber, this has been done on an r31 with rb30de. would sound mad as complete twin intakes

i thought the same thing, but then someone mentioned 2 jets one on each even still woulda been better before the throttle body

hey eug, i think it was only around for a week before it got pushed over the page, but in that time you made a couple of comments, it was a while ago now so yeh prob wouldnt remember it. i just remembered writing it up and then when i saw this thred thought i might link into it.

good luck, i've never heard of one with a turn knob on it, are you sure its off an r33? even the 32 ones are electronically controlled. if you got a pic of what you want i might know someone who can help you

when i was speaking to the guy at xxx they said they made there own kits, they have all their own moulds Also the quality and thickness between the 2 are a lot different.

There you are, its a series 2 one, not sure why but the series 1 & 2 have different units the wiring conectors are different.

Ok, i crashed my line a while back and bought a shell to swap parts across to and now i've got some left over parts some people might want here's what i got Pair of r33 series 1 front seats Immaculate $350 including rails Series 1 Rear seats pair (top & bottom) $150 Set of manual pedals Clutch, acc and break. Good nick but some surface rust great for manual conversion $80 set Interia, complete series 1 interia plastics except the front right a pillar trim, immaculate condishion $200 for everything series 2 air con control unit immaculate $50 Complete set of series 1 seatbelts immaculate not a frey anywhere $120 each or $350 for all 4 Hicas Control module $80 Series 1 door trims immaculate condishion $85 each Im in se melb will only post small items, i may have a few other items lying round. cheers Jarrod

i think the only thing that is different is the knuckles, also the 4 stud chasis wont have holes for cooler piping, but the section is recessed where the holes are cut on a turbo model.

hey eug, im being lazy atm cause im between job's what still needs to be written up, i duno much bout the rb30 build up's but most other stuff i should be able to find some links floating around for. when i was reading i wasn't to sure how much you wanted covered. hey Karl, if you want it i could sell my cluster for $150 including postage, and ill gaurentee it working 100% i never had any issues with it, and its low km's 70ish something km's which havent been wound back, car didnt have abs or airbag's dunno if they different clusters but i assume so as my current cluster is using my na wiring loom with no abs or airbags although the lights come on, i assumed the lights worked on the wiring rather the cluster but ey not to much of a prob cause ill just be taking the lights out cause i dont have that stuff. oh if you do have any prob which im sure you wouldnt ill be more than happy to refund less delivery charge, send me a pm to orginise details. if there anymore parts you need just give me a pm, i have a spare complete interia and most ancillariery for an na, the advantage of buying a complete shell and swaping engine and wiring over

What else is planned for this beast, i like wats going on atm but would love to hear some more plans, im a little suprised you chose nos so early would have though you would have at least some form of adjustable cam's first to ustilise some of the full potential of the extra oxygen entering the system, but as mentioned earlier the 3" exhaust will help heaps with your extra breathing

when i bought my adaptor loom it was $500, which is around about the price to have them wired in but you get the capibilities of being able to remove and not have to chop up your wiring loom,

well whats the wreckers what to charge?>? im sure i could come in cheaper including postage, wreckers charge a fortune for clusters, ill have to get a qoute on postage but im sure it'd be less than $20

i was looking into same thing, talked to some chick at jetspeed and she wansnt very helpful with it just said all they do is the add-on fiberglass ones but im guessing your like me and dont want those.

turbo one should work fine, i have a series 2 nismo turbo one working fine one mine i upgraded. I still got my old na series 1 cluster in the shed its got around 70kms on the clock im in melb if you want to buy it, work 100% i never had any probs with it
