  1. Do they sell methanol at the pump Curious to see ur results. I have a rb25/30 here than has 1mm off the head but we will be running that N/A
  2. AAAAAHHHHHHH. I just watched paranormal activity and freaked out than i see that photo of me. WTF. What happened to my eyes?
  3. Try without it first. Check continuity between the two black wires. Im curious if its just a spare

  5. Exactly. I learnt the hard way. I even saved the tune before i started tuning, tuned for a while then thought id turn off the lock. Then just cruising along i clicked write and guy looked at me and said, theres no power. I thought he was joking till we came to a stop on the side of the road. I tried loading the original tune, i checked everything under the bonnet, then thought id try initialise before i called a tow truck. Started straight away. But the original tune was way out. Had to baby it, thought nothing of the lock so i unlocked them and did a bit more tuning, clicked write and bam no power, now that i knew what was causing it i stayed away, had to do a full tune. Luckily Paulr33 had heard of this happening only a few times, so when i emailed him he could explain it. Scary

  7. Be very carefull unlocking the power fc, If u unlock it then click write i have had a car turn off and lose settings. Had to initialise it and retune, i was out with the guy roadtuning, Not a good feeling breaking down and not knowing why at first
  8. My 80 series needs a guilt-toy touch. Im sick of my stock 80kw. Feels even less with the 35's
  9. Might be worth finding a 2nd hand motor with warranty from a wreckers.
  10. 02 sensor only works off boost. Did u disconect it near the dump pipe at back of turbo
  11. Nissan consult has same 4 as urs but the black is green and a red 12v power going into the top right. RX - blue TX - yellow GND- green (in ecutalk its black) CLK - white 12v - red
  12. Try doing an initialise. Im not sure how he reflashed it, u sure he didnt just get it tuned with the airflow signals joined etc?
  13. Wouldnt recommend the ebay chip unless u can run ur car up on the dyno, then install the chip and run it again, atleast u could check the tune

  17. Is it a genuine 02 sensor? Hve u tried an ecu reset? Try disconnecting the 02 sensor and run a full tank to see the fuel economy
  18. Take it to the strip and see what time it runs.
  19. Take a mechanic for a run and get there opinion. Maybe its crazy hectic wheelspin
  20. Poor car. What are ur plans for it. Maybe keep the locals happy and drop in a 2J
  21. Double check the fuses. Test each pin of each fuse with a test light. Check and swap around the relays too

  24. Sounds like its throttle related I would start by checking tps voltage at the TPS then find a pin out for the TCS unit and check TPS voltage is the same
  25. Think pin 113 in the ecu is VTC control power, check this with a test light when rpm is above 1500. But as the guys said above if the ecu doesnt get all the signals required (speed and neutral/clutch switch) than it wont activate the solenoid. Because u said dont have a speedo in ur s13 u should be able to go into nistune and set the minimum speed for vtc at 0 and try it
