  1. Try new spark plugs. I use either bcpr6e or bkr6e. Both gapped to .8mm Have u calibrated ur wideband sensor? 10-1 on idle doesnt sound right. When it misfires it might show a lean reading, this is due to the unburnt oxygen/fuel mix. The sensor reads oxygen so if it hasnt burnt then theres is alot of it coming out the cylinder

Has been sitting there for weeks collecting dust, my fabricator dogged me, then he turned up 2 days ago and bent up the main roll cage hoop then left, now he lost part of his finger working on the lathe at his. Im learning to tig at the moment so i can do my own alloy work. I have no issue's with a mig and mild/stainless. He has modded the cooler so its a return flow, so all piping will be on the turbo side. He ordered all 3inch from memory even though thats not wat i wanted.
  4. Take the turbo timer out and put the wiring back to standard, see if that fixes it.
  5. Knock sensors in nistune are not reliable. So beware. Leave the 02 sensors disconnected if they are reading incorrectly as they can cause incorrect fueling but ONLY at light load and cruise conditions. U say its running 10-1? Do u mean at wide open throttle? If so this is normal for a stock ecu map.
  6. Looks very nice but how long did that take? And how much. Might be worth spending the extra little bit on drop in injectors

  8. Disconnect that 02 sensor to. I cant remember if i disabled it or not
  9. Hey sarge. Those welds are hectic. Ill subby all my fab work to you from now on. Make sure u save those pringles cans for me lol. Anthony has a good point. The afm element position is fairly important.
  10. They run 1 turbo per 3cylinders. So need to be the same size turbo's. Have a good search through the forums about which turbo's u want, remembering its a massive job to change the turbo's. I learnt its cheaper and easier to find a GTR that has the mods u are after
  11. Cold start issue can be a few things. Let me know if it blows much smoke meaning its too rich. How low is the idle on cold start? Does the problem go away with a bit of throttle? Maybe the aac valve is buggered. Have u set the base ignition timing? Might be out
  12. Get some one to hold upwards/downwards pressure on the boot while u try to pop it with the release lever
  13. How did u test the fuses? Find where the tail light fuse is and see if there is power going to it
  14. Is the compression test the same after replacing the headgasket?
  15. Have a feel under where the rail bolts on. Or use a little mirror to see if the black spacer is there. Wolverine, hahaha, took 3 of us to find that little sucker, that was an injector o ring. I swear it was sucking the blood out of my leg and then just dropped off under the car after we had been searching for a few minutes
  16. Easy job. Just be VERY carefull of the spacers under the rail. Easy to drop and lose

  18. 22psi still going strong. One day my alloy fabricator will turn up to do my cooler piping and return my cooler. He has dogged me hard, once thats done i can continue on with my tdo6sl2 drifter.
  19. Probably because they are flat out working. The phone takes up alot of time, and its always the most important person in the wokshop that the custoner wants to talk to. Be patient and im sure u will get in contact with them.
  20. How did u go with the new piping Micko? have u takin it for a rap in the dry yet?
  21. Did u do a comp test when it was first done? If so was the compression any different? Is there any other issues beside a little bit of liquid in the catch can? What oil have u been using
  22. Make sure your budget allows for metal intake pipe and modify a little bit of the cooler pipe. Another tip is to buy some locking nuts for the turbo as u cant fit the standard locking tabs.
  23. So its a cold start issue your having? Everything else is ok yeah?
