  2. Wht coil exactly? There is 6 individual coils on skylines. Its not like a distributor that has an individual coil feeding it

  4. Thanks Andrew, glad u were there to give me a few neat little tricks especially the one on how U remove the side feed injectors from the rail. Loved that one. Did a tiny bit of road tuning. Was wet and scary, but so far so good. Turbo is nice and responsive and has an awesome sound. I just got home and left at 6 this morning. So a 16hr day. I couldnt leave micko there without getting it finished, i could tell he had been itching to drive it since he started ordering all the parts.
  5. Check all fuses first. Make sure it has fuel. Check all cooler piping. Check spark plug condition and check for spark when cranking Check injectors are pulsing when cranking Check fuel pump is priming/ and take a fuel line off after fuel filter and check there is fuel coming out when cranking
  6. So i uess i could have saved 2grand by keeping that N1 oil pump that got from me instead of going for the tomei. Ahh well

  11. Sarge' car mainly got a powertune due to cost of dyno time and his last experience(cost) with his last tuner.i have helped him out with cost at a loss to me and we still have to do a road tune to get better fuel economy.
  12. Mine is blocked too. Jus bleed it with radiator cap off a front of car jacked up
  13. Is ur speedo working correctly? There is a speed sensitive steering module under the parcel shelf. Make sure that is connected properly and see if there is any fault codes.
  14. These turbo's need some decent boost then they come alive. 17psi minimum is wheb u see th torque start to sky rocket when coming on

  16. I have seen a similar thing before. Changing down gears. But accidently shift from 5th to 2nd etc. Let clutch out and she'll rev to destruction.

  19. 89CAL u are right about the decelleration. But his issue isnt on decel as such its when it returns to idle after decel, thats when it drops the rpm too low and stalls the engine

  21. U can run with the stock cam gears if u wish. Make sure the inlet poncam can be used with ur stock variable cam gear before u purchase. Some people say there is no point running adjustable gears on tomei cams but i have found gains with adj gears
  22. The stalling can be avoided with a different driving style. Mo old skylines had atmo BOV and would only stall if u clutched in above say 3000rpm and let it return to idle. So to avoid it use the engine braking till the engine is below 3000rpm then clutch in and the engine will be able to catch itself becore stalling. Havent tested this with an atmo BOV but in the ign maps i normally add a few degree's of extra timing in very low rpm area's to help bring the engine rpm up when it tries to stall
  23. Why set the rev limiter? If u hit the limiter u run the risk of breaking ur oil pump. Jap tuners leave the limiter high to avoid this, but they rely on the driver to avoid over revving
