  1. Take the top cover off. Remove the grommet including the washers where the cas goes throught the top cover. Refit the cas and grommet to engine WITHOUT the top cover. Start it up and see if the noise is still there. Mine has the noise with the top cover on.
  2. Are u running a top timing beltcover? Check the cas hasnt snapped the shaft
  3. Check all cooler pipes. Check spark plug condition
  4. My setup didnt make any more topend power on e85 over 98. N1's 296kw. My setup is maxed out

  7. Tuning the ss1.5 on saturday morning. Just fitting the 740cc highflows fron ebay use at the moment. Flow fairly even but spray is like a hose.
  8. I have noticed this on another 33 aswell. Best to remove the turbo timer. Not needed anyway.
  9. Sure does. But a GTRS max torque and VE would be close to the same RPM as a stock turbo.
  10. What manifold are u running? A good manifold will normally make more than a chinesee.

  12. Im running a free ebay manifold. I will push 20psi through this rb25 boat anchor. If the boost keeps creeping i will keep feeding the fuel or E85. Preferably the later.
  13. reffering to me? I was showing that stock injectors may or may not be able to push 240kw. Some people above seemed the op results questionable
  14. Even if the manifold studs are broken i try to avoid fixing them till they leak. Its amazing how long the gasket will last.

  16. I pushed 232kw from stock inj. And that was leaning out at 6000rpm. Are u running a fuel pressure reg to up the pressure
  17. I wish i had time to do my car. I have a r32 with 2530 to tune tonight. Then r33 with ss1.5 this week. Then 2 on saturday. Then maybe i can start putting my wiring loom in my drifter. Piping will be started tomorrow night. Ill fit z32 afm and my nismo 740cc this week. Curious to see how my little 38mm turbosmart wannabe wastegate goes. Cost me a wopping $80
  18. Mmmm toblerone. Turbo looks yummy aswell. (I posted last pages last post below)
  19. The wastegate flap might be hitting the splitter. Check that the wastegate can completely open and close. Best to use a 3inch bellmouth style dump
  20. Get an AFR test done on the dyno with a fuel flow gauge. May be a pump issue
  21. 770 is a very good price. 900 on the central coast cause were also not as hectic as sydney
