  1. Just to remove the 02 sensors from the equation disconnect them and see how it goes on hot start

  3. i have replaced 2 in the last month on customers cars, there must be a power steering virus going around. i used 2nd hand pumps from Just Jap and they are both fine now, pumps were around 150 to buy
  4. its very possible that now you have installed the highflow cat letting the engine breath easier and reaching higher load points in the ecu causing rich and retard, try backing the boost right down to 7 and see if the issue is still there

  9. U need to try an relieve the load off the bolt. If ur strong enough try and lift the brake rotor/suspension slightly while trying to pull the bolt out. If ur not strong enough the use a small jack carefully under the lower control arm. U need to jack it up just enough that the bolt will be relieved then u can remove it. Its hard to remove because the suspension is hanging from that one bolt.
  10. Would help everyone else out. I have finished mine now. Involved making a custom clamp type puller to install the new ball joint. Not much info on replacing these so any help for others would be good. I will post pics when im back at my laptop this arvo
  11. It is heaps easier to just give it to someone else to do lol. If i could get my driveshafts out of the hubs i would have taken them off. Had a prick of a time doing these, had to drill out and use a screw extractor to get snapped bolt out of ball joint. Then i had heaps of trouble pressing the ball joint in far enough using the centre bolt on the back of it so i had to make up a rig with 2 plates and 2 long m12 bolts and use that as a clamp to press it in.
  12. Just been replacing my hicas ball joints while on the car. Got both out finally with a 3 claw puller. Then made a little concoction of spacers and bolts to pull the new ones in. Had 3mm to go on the last one and then my bolt snapped inside the ball joint. Pretty devo. Now just waiting on my new hicas inner tie rods from just jap. Then off to Risking's for another wheel alignment. Have u guys replaced these while on the car before?
  13. Nistune is great for stealth. Cops are getting "smarter" these days. Not just knowing what a bov looks like but removing the kick panel to look for an aftermarket ecu

  15. It looks like most relays. Try supercheap or similar and see if their relays have the same pin arrangement
  16. Dont forget, cam timing can have a major effect on compression test results
  17. Use a boost controller. Set the boost and tune nistune
  18. Take the fuel line off at the rail and check there is sufficient flow. How old are the inj? Did u get them flow tested if theyre 2nd hand?
  19. As in the other thread. How is it mounted? I have had issues with the hose clamp around th body of the pump being too tight. But that was with a fresh pump. Do as shaund said and try it out in a bucket of fuel or water. Check the wiring inside the tank to the pump too Otherwise just get a new one and see.
  20. Did u use run in oil? What bearing clearanves did he build the motor. Might be able to use a thicker oil. I run 10 40 penrite
  21. how did you find the best timing for cruise during road tuning?
  22. Is it mounted with a hose clamp? Back the hose clamp off to see if it strs pumping. I had one that shounded fine but didnt pump a drop due to the hose clamp. Try the pump out of its cradle too see if it works.
