  1. Does the block have rb26 stamped on it Joey?
  2. Put it on. And hope for the best. Its the luck of the draw. Ive ran a cheap ebay manifold and wastegate on one of my old cars when i was an apprentice. Its still going strong at 400 kw. My mate had one on for a week and a dag went through his turbo. Even though he cleaned the manifold up he couldnt see the dag. Let us know how it goes. Get a boost gauge that has a warning function and try to use an eci with boost cut function
  3. Tell her its only a gt35. Sort of like a hundi excel
  4. Lol at getting ur missus to tune while u drive. Hard choice- let her drive and can kill u - let her tune and she can kill ur engine.
  5. U have datalogit and wideband so guessing ur tuning yourself. Keep the boost level and the tune safe. Enjoy driving it till the new motor
  6. Its reffering to chamber cc
  7. Just like sex. The further u stick it in the less volume there is. Some people use up more volume than others lol. Just like pistons
  8. Have a good hard think about how to measure cc volume of the combustion chamber. Then think about if a piston is protruding into that chamber...
  9. So u needed a relay to turn the pump off? This isnt normal. Try removing this and set up the fuel pump so the ecu triggers it on only. Maybe there was a fault in the stock ecu before
  10. Get an oil analysis done. Also cut the oil filter open with an oil filter cutter and inspect the filter. Did u rebuild the motor ur self? Did u thoroughly clean the block before assembly?
  11. Could need a new fuel pressure reg, might be boiling the fuel in the rail. Possibly needs more fuel added on hot start
  12. Well done buddy. Glad u finally got it sorted. 23 psi boost spike between gears was a bit hectic
  13. Around 300kw should be safe for a while. If u push more u run the risk of reducing engine life and reliability even more with stock internals
  14. U mean a ping or a misfire? Just checking
  15. RRR sure does
  16. The battery voltage is a possibility too as u asked. Ecu jas a voltage correction map which affects injector opening/lag times. Try using jumper leads or another bigger battery to see if it helps
  17. Agreed with clutch slip. Check that there is free play on the clutch pedal. Check the rear main crank seal hasnt leaked oil onto the clutch
  18. 5400 for neo
  19. U need to check tps voltage not resistance. Set closed throttle to around .45V and check that it smoothly rises all the way to WOT. I was asking about the throttle too see if it needed throttle ie more air to keep running. But as it doesnt it sounds like it may be too lean on start up. Try crimping the fuel return line when starting to see if it helps. U may need a new fuel pressure reg
  20. Ali which number bearing was dead? What size restrictors did u use and what rpm were u revvin too?
  21. Does it start fine with some throttle?
  22. Disco whats the name of the comp store at kogarah? My acer with vista is hating life with the new nistune software. I used my dyno shops samsung n130 older notebook and was loving it. Need to buy another laptop/notebook. Im looking at toughbooks now like status suggested. Have msgd a few 2nd hand places to get some prices.
  23. Good thinking. Post up as much info/pics as u can for the DiY
