  1. For now just trim the timing down everytime u start it so u dont mess with afr's.
  2. So did u try the resister pack? How is ur cam timing out that much
  3. At the top of the clutch pedal there is a small pushrod that gets pushed into the master cylinder. This rod can be adjusted as clutches wear out etc. Have a look at this push rod. U will need a light to see it. Then with ur hand see how much freeplay(travel without touching the mastercylinder) there is. If there is a bit, adjust the pushrod so it moves towards the master to remove most of the freeplay. Make sure there is still a tiny bit of freeplay or ur clutch will slip. Doing this will act as if u are pushing the clutch pedal further. Which inturn disengages the clutch more and should fix the creeping issue u have
  4. Call auto's transmissions Call manuals gearbox's. Gearbox's should be serviced every 80000kms. Just ask ur tuner if he can have a look quickly on the road or something
  5. 1 vote for each. Both are really good ecu's. Up to u what u spend ur money on. U will be happy with either.
  6. By transmission im guessing u mean automatic. It should be red. Or still have a red tinge to it. If it smells burnt and is getting dark or black then u might have issues. Servicing shoukd be done every 60000 or when required by condition of fluid. The freeway issue sounds like a small problem with the tune. Try it in a lower gear. Sit in 3rd at 3000rpm or what ever ur car sits at on the freeway. And see if it happens. Might be rpm related
  7. Try another ecu 1st. Sounds like u know what ur doing as a mechanic. So dont give up yet. 02 sensors are only used as an input into the ecu when off boost. So i doubt that is ur answer. Check the cat now. As that will cause all the symptoms u have described.
  8. Just like music,. If there is good spark on all plugs but still a rough idle make sure the firing order is correct
  9. Sounds like alot of effort and money just to try and run side feed injectors. I would be putting the stock rail and plenum back in and get some injectors to suit
  10. Ur clutchisburndout. Need to adjust the clutch pedal pushrod
  11. No it wont be driveable. Stock ecu needs stock afm and inj
  12. What power did it make?
  13. Is the horse mod plated as turbo???
  14. Hahaha Do it
  15. bring it to me on the central coast i can road tune with a kmon knock box or we can dyno tune it on a weekday afternoon. like i said in the other thread, try trimming the ign timing down 5 degrees to see if the noise is still there, you shouldnt be boosting it around on an ecu not tuned for your car even if its tuned for a similar car with similar mods, theyre al different
  16. sarge if its on a pfc even though the knock is reading 15 if you can hear the chick sound, try going to ign trim and back the timing down 5 degrees to see if the noise stops. dont keep booting it till you figure out if its pinging or not.
  17. ahh well michael, glad i didnt spend to much time setting up the knock map. have you tried the gauges display as Matt suggested? from memory the consult display works but the gauges window doesnt work.
  18. Ur welcome. Before u get too carried away. Take both intakes off the turbos and check the shaft play. Also take the front pipes off from the cat and dump pipes. U should see oil coming from one of the dump pipes.
  19. Recieved my HEL braided lines yesterday Just need some wilwoods now so i can fit them
  20. Full slick or semi? What brand? Some like higher, some like lower. Start at 32 cold. Should come up to 36ish. Try for 36 hot. See how they feel. Trial and error really. See what ur driving style and car likes
  21. Pop the bonnet and try and replacate the throttle stick with the motor off. Then see wats causing it. Whether it be a cable issue. Or one or more throttle plates over adjusted and binding to the body. Etc
  22. Pull the plugs and see if they are fouled up or cracked. If ur only driving 1.2km per day chances are the plugs may be fouled
  23. Was ur car missfiring on idle with old coil packs?
  24. Pm sent
