  1. Check very carefully all of the intercooler pipes.
  2. No way in hell man. U are expecting e85 to run on the same tune as 98. E85 requires atleast 30% more fuel injected into the engine than 98 so putting it in without tuning will lean ur motor out and more than likely blow in up
  3. Save ur money and dont buy a drift button Pull the cover off the handle of the handbrake lever. Get a small screw driver and pry out The 2 tabs holding the spring up. Doing this will release the button and then u have a drift handbrake. Then when ever u want the button to lock just pull the button out with ur fingers
  4. When it happens. How do u get it driving again? Im thinking afm or ignitor. Both can be affected when they heat up
  5. I had this happen on a r33 when tuning. Car just stalls, but this was after turning protect mode off in datalogit. Had to reinitialisethe power fc and do a full retune. Where are u located?
  6. Have u pulled all the sPark plugs out? U will see if they are wet from fuel, might be foulled up
  7. Try another CAS. I snapped a CAS and it gave me the same symptoms. Pull the hat off the CAS and check the shaft and disc
  8. Check that the vtc solenoid is wired up and working
  9. Sell it on ebay
  10. Gotta love loosing the retaining clip. If u cant find it use some thin but strong wire to
  11. If u do have to cut them make sure u have the wheel nuts on the studs against the rotor before u cut. That way after u cut the stud u can wind the nut off and it will rethread the cut end back to normall
  12. I normall leave a brake pad in against the pistons u are pushing on. This helps move them together and keep them square. Use the adjustable multi grip pliers and squeeze. If ur brake fluid has recently been topped up then once u push the pistons into the caliper there will be brake fluid all over the firewall. When this happens wash it down immediately with water
  13. Looks tough 
  14. Ok no probs.
  15. If te temps are that cold maybe u should try a hotter spark plug. But u need to be wary of preignition under sustained wide open throttle
  16. So... U saying the rings are upsde down and u need to disassemble again?
  17. Any updates on hel lines or brake kits ?
  18. As above. Try checking and adjusting the tps. How high does ur car normally idle?
  19. How many kms total round trip? Need to work out if i can make it on e85
  20. Nice work man
  21. Clean the cooler pipes and cooler, Then get a catch can between the passenger side rocker cover breather and the turbo intake.
  22. U will better off pulling the box out 1st to see what clutch and flywheel is there now then getting a clutch to suit
  23. I did the same. Built my rb26 did 2000ks then read about the oil control issues and pulledi It back apart. Got a tomei pump, sump baffles , oil restrictors and did the rear head oil drIan. The tomei pump and new headgasket was the worst part. Hurt the wallet abit
  24. I will check it out when we tune it in 2 weeks or so
  25. Guys is there any black smoke once it starts? As if its too rich?
