  1. Haha. Come on man. U changed heaps of things. Cam gear timing and crank timing is major. Did u have the ecu before or is it new to the car?
  2. Try re torqueing the head down to help the head gasket. Put in some chemi weld or similar, Make sure u run enough fuel so it doesnt surge around corners. Go to winton with a little bit more boost and enjoy the day and get a new motor after u finish.
  3. Tighten the belt. The rest sounds good to me, Was the slide fx ceffy dynoed at morpowa or a different dyno?

  6. yep thats right, take the line off the master. put your finger over the hole. fill the reservoir with fluid, then get some one to pump the pedal and use your finger as if you were bleeding brakes, so push down pedal and release your finger at the same time, then put your finger back on and they lift the pedal, do this until pedal feel is ok then quickly put the line back on and bleed the clutch slave (on the gearbox) with the same process. make sure you dont let the fluid get below the low line on the reservoir

  8. The bigger the gap. The better the spark (if the coilpacks are strong enough) bigger gap can increase torque
  9. how much timing are you using up the top? it just keeps climbing, good results, cant believe thats only 19psi.
  10. the smoke will be from the build up of oil in the cooler pipes, well if the motor is healthy. let us know how the comp test goes
  11. Michael, try the .8mm plug gap 1st, see if its still there. Nee san, what you have done is removed the large vaccuum from the oil breathers which in my opinion is a good thing and helps keep all the cooler pipes etc clean, mine was doing exactly what yours was, thats why i recommended that mod to the breather system. drive it around for a couple of days and see how it goes.
  12. run 1 breather but on the end of a hose and have the filter under the airbox. the black spits from the exhaust are normal, its condesation build up mixing with the soot in the exhaust.
  13. is that for a plug and play ecu Phil? ive never seen it under inj 7, but ive only tuned wire in vi-pecs
  14. did you notice any dry/cracked solder joints before you resoldered them?

  16. ^^^agreed fix the split on the cooler pipe and then YOU NEED TO GET THE TUNE CHECKED, this is a massive air leak and will affect the tune.
  17. my GTR on E85 gets 420km to a tank when my missus drives it, not so much when im driving...

  23. We tuned it how it is Michael so i would just leave it exactly how it is. When u get the cam gears etc we can retune it without the 02sensors but honestly I wouldnt worry about them especially if ur getting 250 to half a tank. Must be a good tune
  24. If u want to get along with everyone dont say things like - its just physics mate, implying everyone else is wrong
  25. did you do a comp test to determine the condition of the engine? do this 1st and then if the engine is ok do the following. take the rocker cover breather that goes to the turbo intake off and put it into a bottle or catch can, block the opening now at the turbo intake. clean out all your intercooler pipes, and empty your intercooler of all the oil, you will see what i mean when you get it off. then refit it all and try again. but it sounds like you have blow by caused by possible ring land failure and my guess is that it will be cylinder 5 and 6
