  1. it will be condensation build up in the exhaust and its mixed with the black soot and being spat out the end.
  2. with the right driver you can run a mid to high 10 second 1/4. i run 11.7 with steel wheel stock turbo's
  3. how long does it take to setup a kmon or similar for the 1st time? do you have to set it up for each engine and car?

  7. loosen both housings, mount exh manifold to motor, sit turbo on manifold and rotate the centre so the oil drain is facing down, then nip up the exhaust housing, then rotate the compressor housing to sit where you want it, then nip that up. take the turbo off and retighten both housings
  8. if you pull the dump pipe and intake off you should be able to tell if its the turbo or not, i rebuilt a mates diesel hilux 3 months ago because it was using 1 litre of oil in 400k's. didnt blow excessive blue smoke but had a tinge to it. when i was pulling it down i found cyl 1 oil control ring was seized shut, other than that the motor was fine. who assembled your motor?
  9. We actuall had it at 1.9bar and 90% duty and still ran stock boost. I think its time for a trusty old bleed valve.

  13. yep as above, i had 419kw with stock rods and arp2000 rod bolts, what pistons are you using?
  14. Itdoesnt have a control safegaurd but it does flash a light on the dash which i think is a very good control telling the driver to back off and check the hand controller

  17. Easy fixed. Dont use interpolation for timing 
  18. Yeh was directed at u. How much oil is it using exactly and what oi. Are u using?
  19. Self learn isnt just plug it in and it starts tuning its self. U need to know what AFR the engine needs at each load point at different rpms etc etc. Plus u need a wideband 02 sensor connected to the laptop or auxillery input of the ecu. Power fcs are the best to learn on because they have a knock reading. This is a tuners best friend.
  20. Did u bleed the cooling system? I reckon its just the engine sucking up some more coolant from the overflow. When the engines cold,undo the coolant airbleed bolt and see if any air comes out. Top up the radiator till coolant comes out this bleeder then put the bolt bak in and tighten. Then take off radiator cap and run the engine with the heater on and fan on 1, this should remove the air From the cooling system, top up reservior now too. Then fit the radiator cap and take it for a drive monitoring the temp
  21. Microtec lol. All other ecu's are alot more in depth. Nistune is another good one due to the realtime knock and the 2nd knockmap.

  23. Thats what i call a good shop. One that if they make a mistake (which everyone does) he admits to it and fixes it.
