  1. pull the spark plugs and post up a pic of them all, keep a note of which cylinder is which.
  2. larger injectors, E85 and more boost
  3. What ecu? Do u have access to a dyno. As above if its too rich it will cause a rich misfire.
  4. im having a mental blank to explain it in detail, but retarding the ignition timing increases the exhaust temperature and hotter egt's cause the turbo's to spool faster
  5. isnt the spacer on the turbo to manifold flange? meaning rear housing (exhaust)
  6. you should get your money back and back charge them, my mates TX3 has had ALOT of issues too, he ended up going to a dog engagement PAR, his car is only used for drag racing but, he had heaps of synchro issues too, the PAR dog box has copped alot of abuse and has even gone back into 1st gear twice during 2 different drag runs (NOT GOOD)killed his motor the 2nd time and broke a driveshaft the 1st time.
  7. get a R32GTR or GTS4 then, i run a torque split controller which lets me adjust how quickly (sensitivity) the front wheels engage when needed, and also has a switch to turn off the attessa pump which means RWD for drifting
  8. start again with new fluid if there is still old fluid coming through, as above start the furthest away from the master but this time open the nipple and just keep slowly pumping the pedal all the way to the floor (KEEP TOPPING UP THE FLUID DONT LET IT GO BELOW THE LOW LINE) until the fresh fluid comes through, then do the pump the pedal until hard and while holding pedal pressure down crack the nipple and lock it up before the pedal reaches the floor. do this on all corners as you did. if you by accident let the fluid go below the low line chances are you will have to start again. hope this helps
  9. Deano's car is the nicest 32GTR i have driven, everything feels brand new Matt have you checked your cat or tried a run on the dyno with a decat pipe? would be good to see the difference, i have seen a silvia lose 45rwkw with a supposed highflow cat. have you ran it down the 1/4 mile?
  10. its not just torque but power also, midrange is a very important but deadly part of the tuning process, midrange is normally where max torque is which is also max Volumetric Efficiency(cylinder filling) as this is the sweet spot for the cams. therefor max cylinder filling means max heat, and max cylinder pressure which if there is any detonation or pinging from over advanced timing etc the cylinder pressures sky rocket and break pistons, rods and bearings.
  11. are you going to be doing anymods when you install the nistune?
  12. Exactly. The standard knock sensors are too sensitive. Therefor tuning with these might not net the extra kw but atleast there will be a larger safety margin. I am roadtuning his car tonight so i will post up what i find. He also wants to up the boost from stock
  13. Yes it does. Itsdown the very bottom next to full version
  14. Its not factory or standard to have liquid gasket on any part ofan exhaust system. After u weldthe plate on it will need to be machined flat. Also dont weld the plate to the housing with the housing on the turbo. mark it and take it off before welding
  15. But it gives all us sau addicts something to write back about or we will get bored
  16. Yes get new gaskets. Permaseal work well and only 20$ each. U will need 2 if running a spacer. Im not sure how the spacer works but does it use studs or 4 longer bolts to hold the turbo and spacer to the manifold? U definately will need a tune. Try not to use any liquid gasket. On exhaust manifolds or turbo's.
  17. Haha Sau are the search Nazi's. There should be a pop up before starting a new topic saying have u searched 1st. Or even when u click new topic it automatically goes to the search form
  18. Might have been a bad batch of fuel
  19. you should get wilwood front brake setup, we only need 1 more for the group buy, check the link at the bottom of my sig
  20. take it for a quick drive with the cat removed and just the exhaust exiting the front pipes, this should remove exhaust restriction from the equation. if this doesnt fix it, try the old ultimate boost (WARNING THIS CAN BE FATAL TO THE ENGINE IF NOT DONE CORRECTLY) take the boost signal hoses off the actuators and take the car for a drive and in 3rd gear some where safe and legalish, accellerate hard BUT KEEP AN EYE ON THE BOOST GAUGE VERY CAREFULLY. if the boost skyrockets back off straightaway, this will diagnose if its a boost controll issue
  21. Alot of tunes for cold start are waay to rich. I tuned my car to run very very little enrichment once it has started. Works fine and is driveable straight away
  22. Are u sure they are watercooled only. Dont think thats right. Wouldnt last very long
  23. Maybe it was 450 hp. Sounds more realistic
  24. Lol Deano.
