  1. Power goal? I would get close to stock turbo size but steel wheels so they dont shatter and take ur engine with them. N1 turboes from a 34 will be good for 300kw and still very good response. -5s are laggy and not suited well to a stock motor unless running 22+ psi
  2. I agree in a way, but if he has the cams due to not knowing which were best for him then the cheapest alternative is to reduce the overlap at low rpm to help get VE back up
  3. Had an Awesome time at unigroup on sunday, Yavuz IS the smartest tuner i have ever met. Best value for money, i learnt alot, we covered in detail every question the group had about tuning. Thanks for organising it Wing cheers Jez
  4. Possibly exhaust back pressure due to the split pulse issue. Can u post a pic of the dyno graph. Would be good to see if the power holds or dies away.
  5. Bent crank... Craazy.
  6. Loading the base map still isnt goin to be ideal. Needs to have a decent tune in it.
  7. Awesome man, well done, keep us updated more often. and take some pics of the action there
  8. Just fueled up my 1st tank of E85 from Gosford caltex, i ran the tank extremely low so i would help reduce mixing of 98, then filled up @ 119.9 costing a total of $70 instead of $90 for 98, from first start my idle went straight to 16.9 AFR from 14.3(98) a quick change of injector size got the idle AFR back to normal, Got my Fiance to cruise around while i touched up a few areas. i used to get 400km to a full tank, ill see how this tank goes just cruising, then ill put a fresh batch in and strap it on the rollers, without touching ignition timing the car feels more responsive, gave it a quick hit and it feels on par with 98, hoping to see some good gains once i tweak the timing. current numbers on 98 293kw 18.5psi 255kw 14psi
  9. Is it stock ecu? might need the cold start tune looked at
  10. Well then. As above it goes from exh mani heat shield ti the strut tower
  11. Fuel pressure reg might have gone soft. Try priming the fuel pump a few times then try to start. See how u go
  12. Get permaseal gaskets from bursons. They work really well. If its a stock turbo or similar. Remove intake pipes and cooler pipes. Remove dump pipe. Undo the locking tabs on the 4 turbo to manifold nuts. Then undo the 4 nuts. Leave the easiest nut till last it will make the job soooo much easier cause the other nuts wont be under load. Carefully pull and pry the turbo off the manifokd studs just enough to get the old gasket off an the new permaseal gasket on. Dont use any gasket goo! Tighten the 4 nuts in reverse order nice and tight and be sure to refit the locking tabs. Refit cooler pipes and intake pipe. Also u should soak the nuts and dump pipe bolts with wd40 before u start
  13. Up top right there is a little box u Click. Brings uo messenger and others
  14. The white is oil smoke. Some people say white some say blue. Coolant in the head is condensation white. If that makes sense
  15. U need to jack the front up and bleed the system by turning full lock a few times and keep the fluid full.
  16. Wht colour smoke? Is it using oil?
  17. Best ive seen is 800rpm gain in response with just inlet cam adjustment. Left exh at 0. On a 26
  18. Hahaha the council didnt put a river under a car park. The building was built over it. If there is a 3m hole in the concrete floor thats a dodgy building. I would be concerned how they built the reat of it.
  19. Standard cam gears? Are u definately looking at the correct mark on the crank?
  20. If its thick it goes from the bkock to the chassis near the alternator
  21. its not tuned that rich deano, bout 11.3-11.5 this reading is before the cat
  22. can the settings in the ecu affect DC? one GTR i was tuning maxed out of adjustment on the 20x20 grid while using datalogit and i couldnt get it any more power due to the lack of fuel/inj duty, BUT I tried something sneeky and adjusted the value's of the stock injectors to 115percent and left teh lag time at 0 and straight away i had heaps of room to tune with, gained an extra 25kw from stock inj 312.9kw stock RB26 N1 turbo's and poncams stock inj etc
  23. are you 100% sure they adjusted them? you should find out if they did. and ask them what they were at before, or pull the top cover off and let us know what they are at.
  24. Cam Gears are relatively cheap these days, so it would be worth getting them and testing on a dyno in different positions, we have made some response gains with poncams on a GTR, are you running stock cams?
