  1. the reason the inlet side is left rough is to create turbulence which in turn mixes the air/fuel better. mainly focus on the exhaust side. cheers Jeremy
  2. yeah i 2nd that
  3. could the drop off be due to valve float?
  4. k thanks so ill keep the stock hoses, cheers
  5. still running stock cooler pipes (rubber ones) on my 32GTR with 24psi boost, want to know if i will get more power (due to flow etc) if i change them to mild steel/stainless steel? thanks in advance Jeremy
  6. do you have std coils? when did you replace the plugs last? you should try running a spark plug gap of about .8mm should help if it is dud coils
  7. delete
  8. wat gap did you set your plugs too? could be blowing the spark out if the gap is bigger than .8mm
  9. do r34 GTRs have decent turbo;s meaning should be ok for him to run about 13 psi?
  10. if wet and dry are the same then bottom end is ok, sounds more like valves, try a leak down test, do you have much blowby?
  11. thats exactly right. have to take great care when installing cams as to where the pistons are.. otherwise you can tighten the cams down which push the valves(only some) down, if thee is a piston under it it wont push the piston it will just snap the valve or bend it,
  12. why do you put loctite on the 2 halves? i just put my tomei pump in...
  13. im keen as. be good to meet you all, cheers Jeremy
  14. just got my new tomei pump after 1 month of waiting, it comes with some shims, do i need to do anything with these shims? cheers Jeremy
  15. 1.5 will be lower compression= more lag but can run more boost. 1.2 will be higher compression=more torque down low off boost but not as much boost, higher comp has more chance of detonation, but its all in the tune,
  16. nah nothing like that, are you running the same gear from your dr30? what power are you getting with the manifold and t04z,
  17. are you looping the fuel line to stop fuel going in the motor??? if so, when the cas is disconnected your injectors wont pulse, so it will save you looping the fuel line. cheers Jeremy
  18. nah not stock at all, full rebuild, poncams, pfc, xspower manifold, 50mm ext gate, t04z .7front 1.0rear. running 24psi
  19. yeah i got one of those shit products, only making 416 kw from it so it must be shit, with rb26 t04z. the turbo sits really close to the rocker cover, had to modify the wastegate flange as it was facing the wrong way but.
  20. go to the site starting with e and ending with bay and search rb26
  21. you need to bleed the hydraulic system,
  22. should be sweet then, usually you cant get a blue slip with out a engineers (if needed) but if its on the rego papers then it must be ok
  23. hahaha, your totally right, im a good scan reader, i always miss the most important bits, i thought of MC, multi combination. thanks for the spotting
  24. try soaking them in kero or meth spirits, im not sure the effect of not having them (guessing a fair bit of oil out the breathers) but if they are blocked you will blow seals and get oil into the combustion chamber, i know this cause i rebuilt my engine and had heaps of blue smoke out the rear, found these to be sludged up from the old farked engine, cleaned them and all good,
