any one got a final verdict on this yet, bout to do fit my old GTR cams into a mates rb20 today hopefully, but only if it will work.

when you say afmeter is fine, how did you check it? it is common that skyline afmeters intermittantly fail, due to break in the elec's inside the afmeter. pull it apart carefully and check the solder joints. cheers Jeremy

wat ever you do DO NOT clean the throttle bodies. i rebuilt my motor and had a bad idling issues like 2300rpm, tried every thing new sensors iac aac you name it, went to nissan after all that and one of the young guys asked if i had cleaned my throttle bodies with carby cleaner (which i had) and told me i need to replace them. so i did... all fixed. wat a pain in the ass. spent 2 months with it doing that.

i put an x forceebay manifold on the 32 GTR with matching 50mm wastegate, only had problems with the wastegate flange facing the wrong way, making 416kw so far on 24 psi with to4z. havent seen any signs of cracking yet, they look nice and shiny at 1st but then they go crappy looking, i pick mine up today as i got pro coat to put an internal and external ceramic aluminium coating on it. if your interested i will put up some pics tonight. cheers Jeremy

hey Michael. not to sure but i think it might be a bit early in the inlet to be sparying it before the turbo, better off trying to put it near the cooler piping. just my 2 cents. curious to see some advantages of it all. cheers Jeremy

your coils are probably breaking down. try gapping your plugs to .8mm cheers Jeremy

just make sure you match your wastegate spring to suit the higher boost, that way your controller wont be working as hard to bleed off. cheers

hey buddy, i just put some new bearings in my rb26 today. im running 416awkw but had to do crank collar and sump baffle etc. ACL black metal race series bearings. they dont look as nice as normal bearings because they dont get the final stage of treatment where they flash coat them. this improves the bearing to housing contact giving greater heat dissapation, also to prevent any flash plate migration or movement, and improve surface characteristics... cheers Jeremy

i just pulled my motor apart after 5000kms, had stock short drive crank with N1 pump. witness marks on the inside of the pump are about 2mm. i just got a jun collar fitted for about $99. i am going to sell my N1 pump and fit a tomei pump, cause my tuner just broke his 2nd N1 pump after just a couple of dyno runs and 3 drag runs, his car has 450kw and revs to 9000rpm. cheers Jeremy

Question- are your spark plugs in??? if so take them out, all of them and try again. seen new guys at work do this and almost cry thinking that they have broken something. lol if you still cant turn it maybe crying is needed. cheers

just got my crank back after action cranks fitted my JUN crank collar to it. noticed they didnt put any grub screws in it. should i get them off them and fit them or is it safe to use with out them. cheers Jeremy
