  1. Are u checking the black with yellow stripe for power? There will only be power there for 3 seconds when turning ignition on. Will be there when cranking tho.
  2. Ok sweet. Yes drill and tap into the housing. Keep temps below 900 degree's C
  3. Think u have it back to front. Cyl 6 is normally leanest. Are u doing this for tuning purposes? U can run a single probe in rear housing of turbo
  4. Yes follow the manual specs
  5. Lmfao
  6. But then 2 afms
  7. AFM compensates for air temp as i said before. AFM's can max out and/or fail but so can Map sensors
  8. Yes cheaper for NIStune with afm but no boost control, flex fuel yada yada. Always comes back to budget and needs
  9. Old school vs new school. Afm can be easier to tune tho, and in a way automatically corrects for air temperature.
  10. Thats true haha. When u bringing ur twin plate up
  11. Where are u located? Plenty of good shops around
  12. Yes measure the clearance with the lobes pointing up. Write down each measurement and double check them. Very slow process. Once u then remove the cams and buckets u need to measure the current shim thickness then add the measurement taken, then remove the required clearance from that total. What does the workshop manual say as required clearance?
  13. Yes. JLM own it. Dropped it off there yesterday. Pretty laggy. But to be expected for a T88 on an RB26. Comes on strong from 5750. Revs to 9300 at the moment
  14. Yep. Boost controller maxed out at 27psi. Pulled 512kw. Back after time attack for more power
  15. Wow. I might get them to do mine next time
  16. Not taking a car. Had to tune the pace car. Its a gold R33 GTR. Had alot of issue's with ignition. Got it sorted today
  17. Busy for world time attack this week
  18. Yes i tuned it. Theres a few bits of info that have not been told with the setup. 2 main factors are built motor and higher comp. Also all my dyno runs are done in 4th gear. Piggaz had the same question about the end speed with my GTR. I have alot of mechanical sympathy so i dont like to rev the engine to redline on the dyno. Most runs stop around 7000is maybe 7500.
  19. Believe it or not this problem has occured to alot of people when rebuilding there rb26. My first rebuild i cleaned the throttle bodies. A customer did it the other week.
  20. Can u get a video of the issue? Obviously dont film it urself. Get a passenger to film it
  21. Could try an oil flush. Has worked for me on one of my old cars previously. But as said possibly oil seal on turbo or valve stem seals. Extremely hard to diagnose. Also check ur oil isnt overfilled
  22. Check ur fuses. Good chance the cigar lighter fuse is blown
  23. The 6266 would match the current power on some decent boost. But if u want to out power the T51r u may need to use a 7 series PT. What are u going to use the car for? How laggy is it now?
  24. Hahaha. Damn peer pressure. U guys are a bad influence for me. I dont think we should hang out anymore
