  1. Check to make sure the traction control throttle isnt closing or doing anything funny when u blip the throttle
  2. Because they have a very bad reputation of breaking and destroying motors
  3. Very good to hear. Does he have stock cams? I was keen to setup launch control for wsid tomorrow but dont think its needed. I reckon i can launch it with boost off the line
  4. The common wire will be 12v. Injectors work when the ecu triggers them with a negative pulse
  5. -Besure to remove all old gasket paper. -use a slight smear of gasket goo on the intake manifold to head gasket. Both sides -have fun with the aac valve and e good to ur mother

  7. Haha i wish guys. I wanna cruise in a 10second stock motor GTR for atleast a day I cant afford a rebuild atm unless someone wants to buy my drifter. That should pay for a certain 2.9L
  8. Google how to put into diagnostic mode. Or get a mate with a consult plug. Theres a very good chance ur spark plugs are really fouled which will cause no start. Check and replace the spark plugs then u can diagnose. It may just be a popped intercooler pipe, bad afm etc

  10. Agreed. Check all cooler pipes and joins very carefully. Or as Scotty has said, try another afm

  12. Yes. But we have been told very rare issue. Waiting on more feedback and testing. I have 1 more i will be fitting to an s13 so i will know if its a bad batch as i bought 3

  14. I am very impressed with the hks super dragger. Even with my new setup its very pleasant to drive
  15. Hey buddy, yes i got the pic. Very dissapointing i was sort of hoping it was an odd issue with Kurtis's car, but if its happened on a different car with another workshops setup makes it very annoying. Hopefuly warranty wont be an issue. Txt sent On the dyno from in the car with headphones on i couldnt really tell. U can definately hear it spool up like a jet when inside the car but i havent been incar with a similar setup so cant compare.

  18. No i havent. This is the first single on rb26 on this dyno. I wish i had a forged motor so i could run 35psi. I think it be close to 500kw took it for a cruise to get some pizza. Without finishing the tune down low it drives very nicely. Below 3 very little boost. Above it picks up nicely.

  20. 4th gear stopping before limiter. I have alot of mechanical sympathy Limiter is 8k. I like my stock rod bolts non stretched

  23. 2nd run today. So 3 runs total and i have my power goal and dont feel like pushing it any harder. Yeah yeah im a pussy Just going to work on the low end of the map now
  24. Gonna have a play with it in the morning Yes gate pressure, i agree 100% about the springs. But i cbf'd changing them. Just made it a bit ah touchy tuning it as i cant work up from low boost. Ash- no extra loading on my dyno it has a set 2second preload and i start all runs at the same speed. I agree with transient boost response on the road tho. Deano and i can test the rolling starts -5's vs 6262
