  1. Its a good way to diagnose if its too rich or too lean. If holding the throttle open helps then its too rich on start up. If hinders then too lean.

  3. Yes but wen u penetrate the opening u have to have it aligned correctly.... Theres a keyway in the exhaust cam as the cas must be aligned with TDC compression stroke otherwise the ecu has an incorrect reference. Hard to explain but pull the cas out and have a look in the centre if the shaft. Then look inside the opening. U should notice a key way which should stop the cas being inserted incorrectly but if the keyway is missing its a little harder to align

  8. Definately worth it. Wen u see the flow gauge before and after a rewire it the flow goes off the gauge when rewired
  9. Not exactly. The 02 sensors signals are halved by the ecu. Not 1 afm per 3 cylinders. And with the 02 sensors im pretty sure the factory ecu is batch fire so it cant physically lean out cylinders unless and injector is playing up

  13. Bearer of bad news here, sounds more like a big end knock. Which means rebuild time. Stop driving it until the diagnosis can be confirmed. The less u drive it the more likely the crank will be useable

  16. Sounds dodgy except for the fuel pump needing replacement. This is very common on most cars that get tuned if the fuel pump is standard
  17. Ur so cool. I wish i was like u. U sound like most typical mechanics, get ur trade card after doing a tafe course so u can change oil and filters.

  20. U can use either rb20 or 25's loom. Rb20 loom u will need the ignitor and coilpacks from an rb20, u will also need to get a vct controller. and u can use the rb20 ecu also If u use the rb25 loom it will need to be modified if u use the rb20 tps (swap plugs) and the z32 ecu(NIStune) will need a special base map loaded onto it to suit the rb20 tps
  21. How the hell can u attach the stock filter to the gauze on the bottom of the 040?
  22. NUMBER 1 TIP- clean the hell out of it. Then clean it again, same with the crank and every other part
  23. If u put a flow gauge on aftermarket pumps with engine running u will see how much upgrading the wiring helps. Yes u can just do the earth mod but i always prefer running a relay with a strong battery supply.
