  1. Do a smoke test to ceck for any intake leaks. It may be something simple causing it. The IAC valves play up causing a hunting idke. Check the DIY section for info on how to clean them. But make sure base timing is set, TPS is adjusted correctly etc
  2. Scary tho. The 040 pump thats in atm was losing flow at 12psi. So glad we ordered the surge tank etc. looks pretty. Will start fitting it up tomorrow. Not sure how im gonna join to the stock connectors but
  3. Stock unopened neo motor. Except i fitted type B poncams to it last month with the old turbo.
  4. As said nothing against the old setup but here is the overlay from the first few runs. Alot has changed, high mount, external gate, plazmaman FFP Link ecu etc. Sorry about the typo its an atrg3 not ss2
  5. We are not judging the old setup but its good to know the new setup is worth the money
  6. How much was the new one?
  7. Wat boost controller? Have u tried preloading the wastegate more Pic of dyno sheet?
  8. Once we get the SR20 back i can post up some results from that. All of the turbo's we are using atm are the BB. Didnt want to risk the journal bearing due to the response we are trying to achieve
  9. Yes thats true. Same turbo. Lotsa boost
  10. Im curious to see when this turbo maxes out. I know Kurtis is now a power junkie but this thing is aimed at max response with strong top end. I have the goal set at 350+. Time will tell with my one too. Its a 700hp turbo. But same again its main goal was response and 380+
  11. It will be from the throttle bodies to plenum or the throttle bodies to inlet manifold
  12. Yeah the R32 headlight switches burn out, common issue. I had to rewire the park lights to the switch above the headlight. Then use headlight switch for low beam
  13. Haha time will tell. But yes they must face the correct way. U will notice the boot of the coilpack is offset too so can only go 1 way
  14. Try lowering the ign trim 3 degree's atleast everytime u go for a drive until u can get it tuned. You do this on the handcontroller
  15. Hahaha. Just showing the progress. Still on 98pootane. Just running it out slowly. Have to say im very impressed with the response
  16. Left it for now. Was up too 262kw at 5500rpm 14.5psi. Was just having a play tonight and good to hear it running. Waiting on the new fuel system to arrive so we're ready for the eflex. Surge tank and lines are on the way after ur very helpful input Matt. Cheers for letting us know about urs. Fark im so keen to get mine on the dyno now.
  17. Just got R34 on dyno with 5558. First few pulls setting afr's shows very good response. Havent turned boost control on yet
  18. When u take the lower timing belt cover off u will notice that the idler or tensioner or both are sitting too close to the block in relation to the rest of the pulleys. There is a washer that normally sits between the block and the idler
  19. Well said. +11ty
  20. Haha Jase. Scotty it has nothing to do with weight or anything. Just pure ease and low cost.
  21. Haha oh u noticed lol. No wars. Im not a pro fabber like these boys. My good old mig can weld but i have to hide them lol
  22. Also jack the front of the car up to help get the radiator higher than the motor
  23. Thats where i was thinking if it was going anywhere it will be just before the cat. I can see what Scotty is saying but i have never seen it personally. R33_racer- Damn u guys and ur pretty stainless. Must weigh a bit though This is another reason i dont use stainless. this is the dump i made for Kurtis's R34 Kurtis got busy wrapping it up. Has done the manifolds also
  24. Road trip then i will tune both cars in a saturday. Then party and check cold start
