  3. Thanks Scotty i will look into them tomorrow. Is easily added onmy car but on the 34 the wastagate pipes is only 2 inches long and turns 90 degrees in the 2inches. Have u seen any crack due to the reason stated? Besides mine will be on gate more not haha. Dyno time then trailer to circuit.
  4. I have never used a flex join on my exhausts scotty. The dump pipes are very secure near the gearbox. Plus it will test out the 6boost manifolds strength Mitcho im hoping for 400kw from mine and 350+ from the R34 with 5558. The main thing im aiming for is response. Well as much as possible with a 400kw turbo. I will be tuning mine with stock cams for now. Then poncams, then when the headgasket pops i will look at variable intake cam and port work. I will be testing the bottom end on my 26. If it lets go i will worry about it then.
  5. Yes click update after selecting afm. I normally have it on auto update but becareful. Then when ur done click write all
  6. My GTR is 99% fabbed up. The twin gate was a mission to plumb back in. The R34 is primed up and once i wire in the 7 bar map sensor and eflex sensor its ready for tuning.
  7. This is completely normal in most nissans, its called a lean pop but 'lean pop' in this instance isnt what u think. It still happens when the idle is tuned at stoich 14.7afr which is a theoretical perfect idle afr. Nearly all Nissans i have done ive had to set the idle afr around 13.2 to avoid the occasional pop in the exhaust. But then theoretically its too rich to most people
  8. May be a few things. But tell me when it does it will it rev over 2500rpm? If not u need a new air flow meter.
  9. Resistance wont tell u a thing. U can try gapping the spark plugs down to .6mm or Get some splitfires
  10. Make sure u are connected to the ecu and that u have read all, then select the afm and click write
  11. Set afm as vg30(z32) Set injectors as 40% which should be a little rich. See if it starts then trim the inj percentage if there is a bit of black smoke from the exhaust. It wont be perfect as the latency is still off. Then get the car tuned
  12. More than likely needs a new AFM. Borrow a mates one to try
  13. My 660's were maxed on E85 with my GTR at 307kw. Can be done with 555's but without any margin for safety. Also my drifter runs the walbro 255lph with 301kw on E85 with no issue's to flow. Has 740's tho.
  14. U need to be sure there is adequate fuel pressure at the rail. Also try adding fuel in the inj trim and see if it will start. May be too lean. Have u rechecked ur spark plugs? They may be fouled. Crank it for a few seconds. Then pull the spark plugs out. Are they wet? are they dry? Let them tell u whats happening. Post up results
  15. Explain the misfire, is it a constant missfire or an intermittant missfire like a pop everynow and then
  16. Last denso experience i had was leaning out at 220 kw majorly. Replaced with a walbro and made 250 safely
  17. Theres always better options for anycar, but at what cost. There is no way to compete against the price of a Nistune.
  18. Awesome buddy. Fark i should have a workshop or something aye. Once u fix the leak dont drive it hard. Get it Checked just incase.
  19. Also what ecu do u have? If its a power fc be sure u havent selected the wrong afm by accident
  20. Get wd40 and spray it around the injector seals and where the plenum meets the head while engine is running. See if anything changes. I have to replace intake gaskets on a rb26 tonight due to a constant miss at idle, un noticable at higher rpm. I diagnosed it as cylinder 2 plenum gasket leaking. U should see the thing plume smoke out of the gasket when i have the smoke tester on it.

  22. Wouldnt expect a stretched timing belt. Air leak is very possible. Did u change ur intake pipe since it was tuned last?
