  1. Was urs pumping out white smoke? Lol at driving on 5 cylinders for weeks
  2. If u think the hardest diagnosis is removing plugs theres something wrong. Yes u can do the disconnection first. Its just the order i typed it in. But masses of white smoke to mee requires checking plug condition. Spark plugs tell u alot
  3. The neo has the cold start coolant fed part on the aac/iac valve. EDIT: misread. Didnt realise it had r33 intake
  4. Nearly every gates belt is whiney. Most nissan belts do it if they are a little tight
  5. This or any oil/coolant deposits. Post up a pic of them. Try keep them in order. Chances are u will need a new set of plugs to help diagnose. If it still runs on 5 cylinders with new spark plugs u need to diagnose which cylinder is misfiring by disconnecting one coilpack at a time with the engine running. The one that doesnt change is ur dud cylinder. Chances are though when u pull the spark plugs u will be able to tell which cylinder is faulty.
  6. Thick white smoke? Remove all spark plugs an check condition. See if 1 is different. Then let us know how the 1 is different
  7. Unfortunately i havent seen any good results from cheaper coilpacks. They normally end in tears
  8. Do all ur manifolds only come with 2 threaded holes on the flange plates?
  9. If we ever get the motor back for an sr20 we sen out for rebuild 2.5 months ago we are fitting a 5558. So be curious to see how responsive it is on SR20 with 'b' poncams

  11. I know its the throttle bodies because i did it when i was a 2nd year apprentice. Cleaned the throttle bodies during my rb26 build. Started up at 2500rpm. Did everything to diagnose then worked out its the throttle bodies. When u clean them it removes the sealer and now they act as if u have the throttle slightly open

  17. I bet u cleaned the throttle bodies. U now need new throttle bodies to bring the idle back down

  19. Ur thinking is incorrect. The 5 is a hotter plug. Gap is irrelavant to this number here. If it was bkr5es 11 then it is saying 1.1mm gap
  20. I offered my 10cm from drifter as a test on his car but he is soft and wont yet lol

  22. Have u grounded the negative wire on fuel pump? Get a wideband afr probe up it and see if its too lean on idle etc. Even with a Nistune some 33's start up burbling then come good after a few seconds
  23. Put some bkr5es plugs in it so it doesnt foul as easy. Then start it to drive onto trailer
  24. Fark knows what pistons are in it if the inj and gare where cheap. Its possibly a stock bottom end. My guess is ring land failures
