  1. Plazmaman plenum is 20kw, e85 say 30kw. Its been a while since ive driven Micko's so cant give a good comparison. Also havent driven Kurtis's car since fixing the leaking bov. But was fun when i did
  2. Keep the aircon. But dont sit there idling for 30minutes if u dont have too. If the car was moving there should be better airflow to the radiator compared to idling with a thermo running.
  3. Still going strong. We retuned Kurtis's The other day to see if we could push any harder and got to 372kw 24psi dropping to 21psi. And wound low boost up to 17psi making 330kw instead of 14psi low. His is driven alot, mine sits around doing nothing. Drove it to the hardtuned.net meet friday night and cleared the cobwebs. Was running 25psi in the cold weather. Both engines are still looking very healthy. I have considered putting Cams in my GTR to push the envelope a little further
  4. May need new knock sensors. Get a multimeter and check continuity between the ecu plug and the knock sensor plug to make sure there is no broken/shorted wiring
  5. Wasnt expecting less power from the Greddy over stock. Did he show u a dyno plot?
  6. Very nice, What did u run as the cam sensor?
  7. Be wary of running a 2nd hand oil cooler tho
  8. Very informative thanks. Im not after more power, i am happy with the current power but absolutely hate the look of the engine bay in the race car with the crossover pipe etc. was a budget cooler and piping setup built from leftovers, so i was after something nicer such as a ffp, considering Plazmaman which i know for a fact work great and make up to 20kw extra with no lack of response, but pricey for this car. Still is an option just looking for a cheaper alternative. With the freddy does anybody have a graph that overlays the difference to stock plenum?
  9. Is there a flat spot when this happens?
  10. Thanks buddy, i will search for some more results and see how i go. Im even thinking about re inventing the wheel alittle... I wonder if i can weld in some ram tubes...
  11. Thanks guys i will have a search for the thread now. And sorry if my question wasnt clear i meant a back to back between standard plenum and freddy/greddy. Thanks GTSBoy, thats my thoughts exactly due to runner length.
  12. Ahh ur still around sarge, long time no see
  13. Has anyonw done back to backs with the greddy/freddy plenum? Im considering one for my drift car but havet tested one myself
  14. What sort of work u after?
  15. Stop trolling. Its getting annoying
  16. Sure thing mate. U have my number
  17. Love seeing cars like that at ur shop. Makes me druel in jealousy
  18. Start by adding a small amount of oil to cylinder 1 and redo the comp test on cylinder 1. Did u try retesting cyl 1? Does the engine have a constant missfire? If it doesnt have a constant missfire then its possible the tester wasnt in correctly.
  19. Rb30 is an older tech motor. So the newer version ie: rb25, nissan engineers decided to use oil squirters to keep piston temps in check. People want the extra torque from rb30's which is fine but they must be built accordingly. So larger tolerances to allow for extra alloy piston expansion etc. or coating the piston tops
  20. More air and fuel in the cylinders (tightly packed in) burns faster Also 12-15degree's atdc is where peak cylinder pressure is most effective
  21. How noisy are the aeroflows?
  22. Borrow a mates ignitor and coils. Fit the coils to ur car and test. If still faulty try the ignitor also
