  3. In a way i would think the wter is there to dilute the methanol, only to cut costs. Imagine the price if running 100% methanol injection only. Would add up quickly

  8. As much as i dont want to say this u cant be certain no ceramic dust has gone back through the motor but u may be lucky. Xcalaba has run big boost on stock ceramic turbo's for a long time. No one is sure how- i think he is using witch magic
  9. I think the stalling issue may be dud afm's (solder joints). With the inj duty u really need to get that checked. Although if the afm is playing up it may be related. With the hicas - if the steering wheel is not perfectly centred when u are on the freeway ie 80+ kph the hicas goes crazy. It happens to me on the dyno if the steering is slightly turned
  10. Yes this. Dyno dynamics (well my one anyway) doesnt have smoothing. The maps can be as smooth as u want and u can get these little irregularities in the dyno plot

  13. Agreed. For some reason everyone latelythinks -5's will give them 380 + kw on a stockish 2.6L. Have a look through the dyno results thread, there are very few that have done this. Most are around 350 and under, and thats with cams etc On topic though yes you will need a tune

  15. I think the idler is missing the washer that sits behind it. Do u remember fitting this washer? If u have a good look the idler pulley will be sitting closer to the head than the rest of the pulleys.
  16. Rb26 conversion is very straighforward. However these engine have there issue's aswell as the stock turbo's needing to be upgraded which adds alot of $$$ My suggestion 2nd hand good condition RB20 $1300ish 2nd hand hks 2530 turbo $900 ish NIStune ecu $1000-1100ish supplied fitted and tuned Upgraded injectors $600 ish Z32 AFM $150-350ish Upgraded clutch if u havent already $600ish Engine removal and install $800-1000ish This setup will make 220ish kw and is a very fast setup for an rb20. Ish
  17. Because the boost falls over at the top it seems inconsistant with boost creep as creep should keep climbing all the way to redline. But 38mm is right on the limit. What im saying is use te boost controller to try and run 18psi solid from 4 to redline. If he had not control at all with the boost then the boost controller lines are back to front

  19. These words still make it sound like its clutch slip. Where is the friction point on the clutch? High up the top?
  20. Looks like it needs a better boost controller, bring it onto 18psi early then it may hold 18.
