  1. Here u go Roy, is this what u were expecting
  2. Finished up at this. Tao this is with an eboost 2 trying its hardest to keep the boost up. What are these new actuator arms u have. Have u tested them?
  3. Well all is going good. Hitting full boost before 4000rpm. But i cannot get the boost to hold to redline.with the eboost2 I have tried: -correction factor from 4.4k to 7k which does nothing -tried rpm set points with 100percent up after 4.5k which does nothing. It just keeps tapering off. Having some dinner than gonna finish tuning. Will try up to 21ish psi. This is a ss2 with .63 and 15psi actuator
  4. Thank you. Roy i will get it for u this arvo.
  5. Rpm is a roller speed ratio that i have to input rpm It matches the log from the Nistune. When i get back to the shop i will take a pic with roadspeed Why do u ask?
  6. Have elusivity's car here at the moment. Waiting on my fuel pressure and flow gauge to arrive so i can set the turbosmart reg and then start tuning it from scratch. Hoping it will be able to match the td06 i did yesterday or very close to it
  7. Ror, Same. Isnt that why we are with them??? please dont tell my missus i said that. I like my balls attached
  8. I have 2 standard working units from my personal car. I changed ecu and now run Map based so dont need em anymore.
  9. Correct. And he is very annoyed at his wife for making him get the internal gate turbo. He worked out he spent around 22hours trying to fix the internal gate to perform how it should. Then i gave him a 38mm ebay gate that he welded to the housing. Worked perfectly.
  10. Ok so the Troublesome internal gate td06 is now sorted. With a very consistant 14psi low boost made 260kw. And hi boost made an easy 280kw without finding the limits yet. Have a slight issue with the ecu dropping timing at exactly 5000rpm every power pull. Have to study the log file and see why. Rpm and all other signals are fine but it pulls timing for a split 2nd and causes a missfire
  11. What was ur old turbo that made 260kw? How was the response
  12. Send me a msg buddy. I can beat that
  13. I love wheel spin. I live for it
  14. Yes set the idle up to 13.2afr. This is where torque doesnt change and will help stabilise the idle alot. So when i tuned it last the afm was good idle was good etcetc. But the when u changed the intake pipe do u think the wiring has been damaged?
  15. Why do u want to remove the vtc
  16. It still sounds like an AFM issue. Do u have 2 known working ones u can borrow off a mate or sau friend. Where are u located
  17. Really. Thats alittle dissapointing.
  18. Good work man. Will be good to see ur results and some footage
  19. Yes thats correct. The rb20 ecu has a tuneable tps trigger voltage. Rb25 doesnt as they use a different tps that works off a set voltage to trigger idle maps on and off. Yes i got it to turn on and off but it mustn't be perfectly adjusted. U will need a multimeter or consult cable to adjust it. Or u can try trial and error. But make sure u mark it before u adjust it incase u go backwards
  20. Yes it will be in the tune, wen it goes from idle map to fuel and ignition map. Ur nistune was a bit of a pain in the tps department. Remember it was way out and i had to adjust the tps trigger voltage. I mustnt have got it perfect. Try adjusting the tps slightly either way otherwise i will have to fix it up for u
  21. Take the bucket out and see if the valve top is mushroomed or worn down. Has the engine been rebuilt before?
  22. Ohh. Well then ring the engine builder and ask them if they can check it out. How Many km's have been put on it? Few possibilities if its a really fresh motor, things like dirty assembly, incorrect clearances, didnt clean out crank and block correctly etc etc. Or of course driver abuse
  23. Yes the stock 25 rods arent the strongest but if u keep the revs sane as alot have u can run more Power than 300kw.
  24. Yes skylines do tht 'choof' as u say intermittantly. If it idles smooth and doesnt sound like a constant missfire then it shoukd be ok. Im just trying to work out why the clearance is what it is
