  2. Is probably bouncing between cells at idle. Did it get the correct idle learn procedure when installed?
  3. Also check tps setting. Did u keep the charcoal canister or remove it? If u removed it wat did u do with the lines? I had a mate route his breather line to the inlet manifold and wondered why it was running rich on decel and accell

  8. Definately. I have not done any low down tuning with this thing yet. Is just as rich on boost build up as it is on full boost which once optimized should be even better. Then im keen to go to the drags
  9. yes on E85, i'll wind the boost in next time
  10. Just did a quick half hour tune. Havent turned the bleed valve up yet, this is with NO VTC. Running new Tial mvr gate. Stopped tuning due to a squeel from an injector seal under boost. Will check it out over the weekend.
  11. Check the valve clearances again now with the new valve in. Use a stethascope or long screw driver and try to find if the noise is in the top end or bottom end
  12. This is BSA's old car which has never been rego'd in NSW, so he went with internal gate to get it passed for a blue slip. This internal gate housing has been modified so the flow path is good, it flows like a nornal 5 bolt rear housing, but now the bush is farked and is extremely hard to move
  13. Changes the position of the element. Worth a try
  14. Take the injectors out and get them cleaned and flow tested. Another option while its running is to get a screw driver and a hammer And give the problem injectors a few taps/hits near the body of the injector. Sometimes they get stuck. Just to confirm after its been running and u pull the spark plugs cyl 1 and 2 are dry?

  16. If its street only then will be ok. Just dont clutch dump it too often. That is a pretty cheap price. Normally 550 for a button hd

  19. its a mate of mine, but i honesty told him to put the stock turbo back on until he gets a different turbo. I am hating his setup. But maybe once the external is on it will be half ok
  20. Disconnect the coilpack on the suspect cylinder and see if the noise is gone, So did u remove the head and fit a new valve?
  21. Had another fail tonight with the internal 20g. Customer has modified the gate and the dump pipe but still boosting up to 22psi. After inspecting though the wastegate arm isnt moving freely. It seems as though the bush has failed when he has heated up and welded the internal gate etc. So i gave him my old ebay 38mm gate to weld on and try. Retune on monday or so. Hoping but cant promise i can tune the drifter tomorrow during the holidays. If my boss lady lets me
  22. As Trent has said its mainly an issue ifthere is no safety limit when tuning e85.
