  2. Its mainly people with rb20 ecu's or ones that that dont have any control over the vtc. NIStune have proved That running the vtc permantly on is alot better for mid to low power/torque but may lose 10 kw at peak power
  3. Looking at the pics the 45v1 is the older type of 25 turbo's. But as zeb said it may be an old 300zx turbo

  9. left hand in from near the brake booster, right hand from the turbo side.... yes this means u will be sitting on top of the motor
  10. Buy a Braided line kit. Makes life soooooo much easier
  11. Thats different in a way. Its more than likely not that old. But still i would definately prefer not to use 2nd hand fuel pumps. I knew op was going to say a 2nd hand GTR pump. With most things that run in fuel, once they are removed they dry up, seals swell etc etc.

Goes like this- Pull up at lights look at each other, Kando driver says, "whts the retail on one of those", "More than u can afford Pal, hypergear" rev car and make dose. Then cruise up to race track Put in 4th gear both at same speed around 2000rpm. Look at each other, nod then foot flat
  13. Wht ecu are u using? Did u notice the boost gauge overboosting or underboosting?

  15. New haltech and vipec/link software is awesome and very similar. Same layout which makes things easier. Race wars Kando vs Hypergear. Gonna be a good race. I wanna see results for a rolling 3rd Gear start from 2000rpm. Or 4th if ur on a race track. Curious to see who comes on boost 1st an wins up top

  18. Once u go over around 200kw u will need bigger injectors and air flow meter. Fuel pump should be replaced and rewired now due to age
  19. See if he offers money back gaurentee's? I do. If some one isnt satisfied i will refund all tuning money and load the tune back in they came with. Hopefully it never happens. I will try help u out as much as i can for price wise buddy. Let me know.
  20. Best to buy a tuneable ecu. U need to tune ur ecu to suit ur particular car, especially when ur going for 350hp. Few options but cheapest is normally a NIStune ecu. U should save up for a bigger turbo, injectors, air flow meter and ecu. For now just install the rb25 with the stock ecu, and get an upgraded fuel pump such as a walbro Gss342, and run with the stock ecu on sensible boost 12psi

  22. There shouldnt be a password but u will need the diftware and a license. Just be careful with ur driving. Are u following any run in procedures? Did u get an oil analysis done ?
  23. When u pull ur motor out send me ur ecu and i will adjust the timing map. Or Keep boost setting to a minimum, and adjust the base timing back 5 degree's
