  3. Its because ur intake pipe isnt 3inch metal. With metal joiners. Hell just weld it to the turbo
  4. I bought a 38mm to tial 44mm adaptor but if my tial 44 came with a flange i might pull the manifold off and weld it on
  5. I tried a 34mm. Boost creep. Then a 38mm. Ok on 11 psi. But changing to a 44mm tomorrow
  6. Did he only do a reprogramme? Try doing a compare file against the tune before u sent it. Do u still have the tune on ur laptop
  7. Yes but when u plug it in it stalls. This happens when there is a cooler pipe off aswell as a faulty afm.

  10. CHeck timing before u remove it just incase its not at factory spec. Reset after u change covers
  11. With no afm the car will not rev above 2500 rpm. Have u checked all cooler piping etc? Where are u located? What colour sticker is on ur afm?

  13. The only reason u should retest is because u used some 2nd hand Parts. As Duncan said after the next change in 50km's send an oil sample off for analysis

  15. That was a standard intake pipe with sleeve. Totally different to a 3inchmetal intake pipe with silicone joiners

  17. Did u clean out the crank and all oil galleries yada yada? Try another oil change in 50km's to test
  18. Ron picked it on this one. Get the silicone intake off ebay. Then add metal. This stops the silicone sucking in. The silicone internal is bigger then the o d of the 3inch pipe. Fits stock airbox and has bov return etc
  19. I check the start up issue it for u if u want. Best bet is to test the injectors on the bench and see if they dribble Does it use any oil? Is there any oil residue on the spark plugs? Do all spark plugs look the same?
  20. take the fuel line off in the engine bay and check if there is sufficient fuel flow coming out, if there is put it back together and try crimping the return line to bump up the pressure to the rail, see if it starts then. otherwise do the basics, check fuses etc, check for spark and injector pulse

  23. Apologies Ben and Paul, my phone is never off but it may have been on another call. I have organised with Paul to check his baby out monday. As above its all about what sort of use he has for the GTR and how tame he wants the animal to be.
  24. Try bkr or bcpr 6es plugs.
