  1. Have u guys tried disconnecting the coolant temp sensor? Im curious to see if there is too much fuel on cold start and the throttle needs to be pressed to lean it out a little. Central coast person, what series is ur engine. I might be able to plug in a nistune to ur car and see if i can sort the cold start issue out or not

  4. Very easy to make a dump pipe aswell. I havent tested an internally gated kando but the design does look a bit iffy, similar to the kkr turbo setuo which works ok
  5. If u are willing to give it a go i would service it ur self, well the basic service anyhow. Otherwise come for a drive to the coast and ill do it for u
  6. Very curious to see how the billet gears go. Hiw much are they worth?
  7. Need to plug it into consult to see what the code is. 34's are common for the coilpacks to throw a fault code

  10. Bolt on. BUT u need to remove engine from the car, remove the sump so u can change the oil pump. Depending which year model R32 engine u have will depend if u need a crank collar fitted to the snout of the crank.
  11. Cam and oil pump seal are the same. Big one will be rear main seal

  14. Good question. Part of the learning experience. We hadnt thought of the harness bar because i hadnt planned on running a harness yet. Ill upload more pics i just took later. The rear legs are directly behind each seat in the middle so it may be possible to weld a harness tab and run two straps from a single point. ? Or we can weld the harness bar between the main hoop
  15. What sort of technique did they use for the final hone, it depends if theyre old school builders or they use a new age technique.
  16. Pull number 1 coil pack out and use a spark plug lead between the spark plug and the coilpack, then connect the timing light to this. I have noticed the loop can give readings 15degree's out. Check the alignment the inside the cas. If this is aligned the cas should be close to centre of the bolt holes. Check the bracket that holds the cas (will have to remove top timing cover) i had similar issue's with a car the other week and the bracket was broken/cracked almost in half.

  18. Duncan - yes we built it as per CAMS 2011 manual. I dont have plans for log booking, This car is just a drifter built from all my left overs from my GTR, so all the stock gtr brakes, diff etc. The cage is required for passengers. Gtrxtc- didnt take very long really. We are planning for a fast turnaround- for other cars we do. We think its possible to build a half cage in a weekend. Worst case 1 week turnaround. Possibly even a full cage depending on the design. Can u please post up some pics of ur cage. Only using seamless pipe as per specs. The wolf- we can give u a quote if ur interested sure u will be happy with the price
  19. Use knock copy or turn off the knock flags so it cant go into knock mode. If its not pinging of course. Im not sure on the traction control issue u are Having but i am very curious what it is

Hey guys, BSA (BSA customs) and I (DVS Tuning) have just built a half cage for my R32 gtst drifter, its basically a minimum spec cage with an extra cross bar and we may add a harness bar tomorrow. Took a few pics along the way and we will start to fabricate these for customer's. The cage in my drifter is a weld in but we will be building them to suit bolt in aswell.

  22. Solder to a wire instead of the wire insert(dodgy) method. U can run boost controllers and gauges etc off an existing wire/fuse without issu's
