  1. Think about how fast things are happening. The airflow hardly stops.
  2. Stainless will look pretty for about 2 days. Or 1 tuning session. I would use mild steel and ceramic coat it or heat wrap it.
  3. It may be the solder joints internally in the afm. There is a DIY article that shows how to fix it
  4. Cam gears will make the difference in response.
  5. Some tuners tune by afm correction obviously advan is one of them. If i did notice that i would have set to 100% and tune like i normally do. I think u should start from an init and leave the afm at 100% and tune it
  6. Roy what else is done to that 32 with TD06?
  7. What power are u hoping for Jase? I have an S14 thats looking to upgrade from stock. Maybe this is what he needs.
  8. We went till 12:45am Dave. But then we had to send him to fix it up. His screamer was basically aimed at me so was too loud and couldnt hear what i needed to hear. Finish it off this week hopefully. Might have to change my name to midnight tuning
  9. Kando Td06 20g 8cm on a rb20 rolled off the dyno this morning. The turbo produced 1.8bar at 5000rpm. Wasn't intentional but it shows how quick the turbo can spool. Especially on a rb20. This was with a stock manifold and an external gate welded to manifold. Once the crrect spring was installed into the wastegate it had low boost of 8psi and made 188kw without finishing the tune. 14 psi saw 224kw at a very safe AFR and low timing.
  10. Ur little RB20 loved 1.8 bar of boost. The thing made 180kw at 5000rpm before we backed off. I am loving the kando turbo. Full boost at 4500 on a stock RB20 is unreal. Stoked we found how to stop the stalling issue's without a BOV. Need to do some more testing yet but looks promising with the NIStune. Hurry up and fix the few little issue's and we can finish the tune off with 18psi.
  11. Afaik the 34 runs a seperate transmission ecu. So nistuning will work fine. But i have honestly never done an Auto
  12. It might be a compressor surge? Really high load low rpm the turbo may be pushing more air than the engine can swallow
  13. still no workie. upload it to youtube and then post it up
  14. Play nice buddy. Lilcrash has spent a fairbit of money and his car isnt right yet, im sure most know the feeling.
  15. Crazy cheap. Goodluck with sale
  16. Thats awesome bud. Hows it feel?
  17. Very informative post. What are ur reasons for using a colder plug with E85
  18. Both the haltech and Vi-pec will do a great job. It comes down to ur personal preference and what ur preffered tuner likes
  19. Hahaha i haven't heard that in years
  20. Over 100% may possibly run lean. Most aim there injector sizes for around 60-85% duty cycle
  21. What power is it making. Have u checked fuel pressure. Have u checked the voltage at the fuel pump. If u havent already u should wire in a relay with battery voltage as the standard system is voltage regulated
  22. Still trying to convince the missus that wakefield is the perfect anniversary present... For me anyway
  23. Crazy turnout. We went to the seven hills carpark before realising it had been moved, so off we went to behind the outback steakhouse, nope no one there either, oh right its on the otherside of the highway, finally rocked up to te right place, and lucky me there was a carpark spot right next to the garden on the roadway. Lucky there was no parking cops. Nick sorry i didnt hang around long, needed food and water. What time did u leave?
  24. Street driving i run Penrite HPR10-50 $45ish When im on the circuit i run RedLine 10-50 $120 for 6L No matter how good quality te oil is i change it before a track day, then back to Penrite after the track. Keep it fresh. What sort of driving do u have planned? Did u fit a bigger/baffled sump
