R34 Rims would look nice on it. Plus they look good polished or grey or white so you can change the color when u get bored with them
Yeah i am glad matt bought it though rather then someone i don't know. I will be replacing it with something different eventually.... won't be as much of a straight line car though.
I would guess so. An Rb30/26 S15 in autosalon mag a while back with t51r spl was making a claimed 1600Nm of torque or more. My 33 made over 700nm of torque with a little under 400rwhp so i would believe that it's making this much torque.
What he said^^^^
Have ICE thought about getting different rollers or is it purely because of the power your car is putting down and the torque? Having said that i have seen some cars only making 230rwkw almost climbing out of the rollers due to some crazy lsd's they have been running (they weren't strapped down though).
You know you've got a really tough car when you can't get an accurate dyno reading from it
From the results i have seen on these dynos as opposed to dyno dynamics dynos:
1. They read lower then dyno dynamics dynos generally
2. You can't cheat the figures as easily as weather conditions are detected or dowloaded or something (can't remember exactly)

Something to think about.... if the fibreglass snaps through in the middle in a hit from the rear and you fall back ..... fibreglass breaks into sharp pieces.... wouldn't be pretty.
If you want a cheap seat sparco sprints (entry level sparco seat afaik) are around 600ish new each. Also better off looking at other cheaper australian brands if you want a NEW cheap seat rather then a copy.
They are designed to keep oil available to the oil pickup under cornering and acceleration/decceleration to stop oil starvation as rb's hav a pretty poor oil pickup design from the factory esp when compared to jz motors.
The trap doors and baffles keep the oil from all going to the side or back of the sump under load thus stopping oil supply to the motor in some cases and causing more wear to the components and in extreme cases failure.
Pretty much a must for any circuit/drag gtr.
See here for a description with pictures.
Currently using REPSOL COMPETIZIONE ELITE but will be switching to MOTUL V300 CHRONO from now on.
Someone i know blew there oil filter out and ran with no oil from the gabba to tingalpa and was up it quite a bit a lot of the way as didn't realize had no oil left in motor.
The workshop pulled the motor down and said why did you want us to look at it and didn't believe he had run without oil as was perfect. Not a thing wrong !!!
He was using MOTUL V300 CHRONO when this happened.
Is enough to convince me that this oil is the stuff to get.

I think i recognise that gtr in your avatar :aroused:
It has a trust 6 speed box and gold centre bbs wheels if its the one i think it is
Very nice car..... any bigger pics of it? i currently have a crappy small pic as my wallpaper.
Hope there'll be some of the engine bay
After that pic showing us the welding on the exhaust i'm sure i'm not the only one keen on seeing what setup it's running. Should be interesting to see what times it runs when you get it to the strip
