  1. Hi all, I have a 1996 KR4 silver R33 Gtst which has been written off in the past due to hail damage. It was since re registered in Victoria by the previous owner. I then bought it to use as a track car but plans have changed due to a change of circumstances. It would probably be worth more to part out but I don't really have the motivation or engine crane etc to do this. These photos were taken with the car dirty and at it's worst, I don't want to hide anything from potential buyers. My cat has been walking on it as well as she lives in the shed, but she hasn't been allowed in the interior. Anyone is welcome to come and perform a compression test and test drive the car in the driveway (rural property) It is unregistered though so I wouldn't be able to let someone take it on the road without a trade plate. Details: 1996 Series 2 Gts25t 105,xxx kms Complied Economic write off against VINs *Comes without front seats or front brake calipers, may put s14 calipers on though for ease of transportation* Good points/mods Motor runs well, nice and quiet, drove it back from Victoria, didn't miss a beat. Gearbox is great, goes into gears easily, no syncro issues. Exedy single plate clutch Splitfire coilpacks Custom front mount intercooler painted black and stainless piping Custom turbo back exhaust Advan tri spoke 17" wheels (ordinary offsets) Nismo front strut brace Master cylinder stopper (cheap brand but does the job) GKtech ABS delete kit fitted (all factory brake lines in the boot along with ABS module) Schroth tow strap Most bushes look to have been replaced with Whiteline yellow urethane type Alpine head unit, rear speakers and amp Just did a service (timing belt was still original) which included the following Brand new gates water pump fitted 0km ago Brand new gates timing belt fitted 0km ago Brand new japanese idler and tensioner pulleys fitted 0km ago Brand new genuine rocker cover seals fitted 0km ago Brand new genuine nissan crank and cam seals fitted 0km ago Freshly rebuilt brake master cylinder Brand new genuine nissan pcv hose Brand new leather gear and hand brake boots with black stitch Pictures shown of old seals, old rocker cover gaskets, old timing belt and tensioner, idler etc. I do have photos on my phone somewhere of when I was in the process of fitting the new water pump, idlers, seals, belt etc which I will try and upload later. Bad points Hail damaged body + paint is a bit ordinary in spots Pushed out dint in rear right quarter where someone had kicked it Guards flared roughly with jack handle and have light surface rust where the paint has flaked off SkylinesAustralia stenciled across bonnet by previous owner Boot leaks water in somewhere, boot floor has a bit of light surface rust from where water has been sitting Temp gauge in cluster doesn't work accurately, have swapped with a GTR cluster I had sitting around to test engine temps and it read within normal range Rear brake pads are low but still work Dash has a few marks where double sided tape has been on there by the looks of it and also the radio surround, cluster surround plastic trim has some damage as in pics **Comes without front seats, or front brake calipers or lines although I have a pair of s14 turbo front calipers and rotors I may fit just to make it easier for people to move without relying only on handbrake.** These can be left on/in the car for someone to drive around driveway and check engine/ gearbox for themselves/ drivers seat can be left in to load the car onto a trailer if required. Price: Asking $3000 although I am negotiable, don't hesitate to throw me an offer if you think this is unreasonable or too high. Condition: Used but almost as new, few little bits of dust in behind the plastic if you look hard, no scratches, perfect replacement for those with misbehaving tacho needle issues. 3. Found the issue, oddly enough turned out to be core 2 was not happy being unlocked and handling ssd transfer rates. Even tried underclocking the cpu to 2.8GHz with various voltages and still wasn't happy. BSOD's on boot. 2 cores was solid as a rock even overclocked with SSD. 3 cores was also fine if I avoided core 2, could run prime 95, transfer files, download in background and watch videos all simultaneously. As soon as I turned on any combination with core 2 involved and the SSD, bam, BSOD on boot. Went back to overclocked unlocked quad core setup on platter drive until I work out whether to go a used phenom ii x4 965 and retain the rest or commit to a mobo/cpu/ram/gpu upgrade.
  4. Hi All, Thought I'd post here about a recent problem I've been having that I can't quite wrap my head around. I've recently received a new 240gb Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD to use with my aging system. It has been close to 100% stable in current configuration with platter type Samsung 1TB system drive. As soon as I install the OS (have tried windows 7 and windows 8.1 64bit) on my SSD, I will generally get a few hours into the fresh install before the BSOD's start. Usually saying some sort of system file has been corrupted. System config as follows: Stable at 30mins of Prime 95 Blend with peak cpu temp of 54C and peak cpu core temps of 45C Asus M4A87TD/USB3 NB clocked to 2600MHz @ 1.275V AMD Phenom X2 555 black unlocked to X4 B55 @ 200MHz x 18 (3.6GHz @ 1.38Vcore) Corsair H100 cooler 4 x 2GB Geil DDR3 -1600 Ram running @ 1333MHz (667MHz x 2) 9 9 9 24 33 2T Timings @ 1.5V MSI HD7900 Radeon Twin Frozr Corsair HX750 PSU Corsair Obsidian Case Samsung 1TB System Drive Samsung 2TB Storage Drive WD 3TB Green Storage Drive Sandisk 240GB Extreme Pro SSD - trying to use as system drive. If I BSOD with SSD as boot disk, then jump into BIOS and change back to 1TB drive as boot disk everything is good again. Thanks for any suggestions you guys might have, I'm at a loss as to what else it could be. Almost resigned to updating the build.

  7. Seat and Willans harness sold pending payment, thanks. Price drop on tyres to $400 for the set. Mystery diff is still free, makes a very good doorstop or paperweight.
  8. Thanks Martin. I think they are a lot nicer than even some of the more highly regarded brands. If anyone is interested in parts please feel free to make an offer if you think the prices I'm asking are unreasonable, I would rather sell than have it sit around for a year. Also if anyone wants the mystery diff I'm willing to give that away if you can pickup.

  10. Km won't be genuine as it has the nismo cluster fitted and most of the parts that indicate wear have been swapped for aftermarket bits and pieces. Price seems a bit steep for what it is. (Based on what is actually in the ad) 4 door headlights, bonnet swap, 400r front bar suggest to me that it may have had a front ender. Would be something to look at in person. Hard to tell from pictures.

  12. Hi All, I have a near new (ATS 1.5 way centre I installed into a spare housing with 4.11's. It also has the two short (non abs) half shafts installed, as req'd for this diff. These are miles ahead of KAAZ and the like as far as daily livability goes, very pleasant to daily without clunkiness. I bought this to use in my R33 GTS-T before realising it had the rare A-LSD option. The car is probably going to be sold now anyway due to a change of plans. Item: R200 ATS 1.5way LSD with 4.11's and 5 bolt stub axles. Cond: near new centre, bearings felt great when I stripped it down, good mesh etc Housing is quite dusty as it's been sitting in the shed for quite some time. Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD (can travel as far as south side of Brisbane to meet with serious buyers as I can visit friends while down there) Sale conditions: not keen on freight due to weight of the item Price: Asking $850ono Contact: Best to send me a PM on here or call 0420 856 four 6 four (please don't txt "call me" with your phone number) Photos:
  13. Bump. Negotiable on price.
  14. Hi all, Just to update in case anyone reads again as I've sourced a bunch of parts today thanks to MickoLis and some other members, all I'm now chasing is: RB25 top timing cover (the bit people remove to show the cam gears for some reason) + bolts to fit Series 1 or 2 air con condenser in good condition (hardlines can't be bent or likely to fail under pressurisation) Thanks Jamie
  15. Hi mate, I sent you the text about the parts I'm coming down to grab tomorrow. I just thought of a few little other bits and pieces I might need but I'll talk to you about that tomorrow when I see you. Any chance of texting me your address tomorrow when your up and about. Cheers Jamie
  16. Thanks Dan, I've been in touch with another fellow who has a complete car for wrecking so I'll grab as much as I can from him to save running all over the place, I'll let you know if I still need them though after tomorrow. To update, all I will probably need still is: R33 series 2 rear seats or R34 rear seats or R33 gtr rear seats R33 Floor mats R33 Drivers seatbelt stalk R33 floor carpet in good condition
  17. I'm on the sunshine coast but can travel to Brisbane or the gold coast.
  18. Gutted my car in preparation for a track build but laws and situations ave changed since I started so returning to dailyable state. After the following parts: *Ac lines from evaporator core to compressor and receiver drier and from receiver drier to condenser core. Heater hoses from heater core to firewall bracketed joiner *A pillar trims *Quarter window trims *Rear lower trims that meet up to quarter window trims *Rear parcel shelf trim *Map and courtesy light loom that runs under hood lining *Good condition floor carpet (no holes or tears) *Series 2 rear seats in good nick *Series 2 front seats with rails and seat belt stalks *Floor mats in okay nick (no holes or wear through) Cheers Jamie
  19. Bought this motor a while ago with the intention of building up an ITB'd na engine and putting it into a stripped out R33 shell. It's been sitting in the garage now for over a year and nothing has happened and I've realised my ambition outweighed my budget and my ability so it's up for sale. I'm looking at starting an apprenticeship in the new year so the disposable income I once had will disappear for a few years. Engine has one VVEL shaft removed by previous owner who wanted to get a better idea of how it all works, VVEL stepper motors were also removed from the head for trial fitment. Had an auto box bolted up to it initially so probably had a little easier life, came out of a front cut with 3x,xxx kms, looks like new inside, very clean. No flywheel or clutch, no exhaust manifolds, no power steer pump, no aircon compressor, does have alternator all intake manifold and e-throttle bodies, injectors, fuel rail, coil packs etc, toolbox full of bits and pieces from front cut, full loom in another box, 370z fuel pump, 370z cluster is there too with stalks as well. Can have the VQ35hr heads bolted on if you don't want to go down the VVEL route and rather run conventional camshafts and have the advantage of 3.7L capacity. Brought the six speed G37 box in from the US, same as found in the 370z internally aside from one bearing apparently being a different size internally, perfect condition inside, very clean as you'd expect from a low km gearbox (4x,xxx), very nice shift and handles a lot of power. Probably the strongest box nissan has built and shifts as nicely as an rb20 box. Comes with shifter assembly, shifter, all rubber boots, hydraulic throw out bearing and lines. Speed sensor, reverse sensor etc are there as well. Chasing $3500 for the lot pickup or buyer pays freight. Located Sunshine Coast QLD. Contact on 0420 856 464 if you want to inspect.
  20. They'll bolt straight onto a 33 as well, s13/14/15 r32/33 are all the same spacing, offset etc so long as 5 stud model. Only different r chassis is 34 which uses slightly larger bolt holes with same centre to centre distance.
  21. Hey guys, Sorry for the delayed reply, all these bits are still available. Haven't been on for a while as flat out with study. If you're still after those parts^^ let me know and we can workout a time for you to grab them
  22. Wiper assembly is spoken for. Rest of the gear is still available. Just to clarify also, boot trims are quite grubby and missing the trim that goes across between tail lights. The rest is there but and may well clean up okay, side parts are okay as is the corrugated front part that covers the battery and fuse area.
  23. Found one thanks to 32_Dave. Please close or lock thread : )
