I got told on avg it tends to be $600 for a full days work. They empty the fuel tank and fill it with fresh fuel. THey then check all the hoses for vaccuum and ic pipes check plugs and make sure right heat range gaps etcc and just generally go over the mechanicals 2 check evrythin b4 they even start it on the dyno. Then when tuning they don't just change af ratio they can change just about every parameter the power fc offers with the laptop software they use, rather than just stuffin round wit a commander =P I don't mind paying for quality work I will let u know how it goes :Pimp: Jamie

It says on the HKS turbos POWER & RESPONSE and that is what they give... for example HKS GT3037s vs Garret GT3040... the 3037s spools quicker and can also handle more power than the garret equivalent. HKS put a lot of money into R&D of their parts which is why they are so succesfull. If you can afford to definately buy the HKS item over the Garret. PS HKS test turbos are designed to run at up to 2.5bar :Pimp:

If you want something easy to use don't get a hks clutch. I have a hks triple plate solid centre in my gts-t. beautifull clutch but takes a bit of mastering. :Pimp:

Dog Boxes use dog engagement rings instead of syncros. THey are a lot clunkier and harder (read more force applied) to shift into gear, especailly at slower speeds. THey are much much stronger than ur typical gearbox though. Don't bother wasting ur time wit sequential boxes unless u gonna have the money to rebuild or replace it quite often.

I have heard 2 sony 12" xplods in som3 poor unsuspecting person who was talked into buying them's boot. THey sounded shit3 to say the least. No power handling lots of distortion ... and this was at medium volume. Get some JL's for tha same price or rockford.

Hi, Just looking around for either some R34 GTR 18" wheels x 4 in good condition... not worried about finish but must not be dinted or buckled. Or 18" Volks or Advans x4 in 18"x7-9" to suit gtr gts-t stud pattern. ThanX :Pimp:

So r the exedy organic heavy duty singles able to handle 600hp@flywheel? Are they easy to use 'cos I heard that some singles are harder to use then a good twin plate? :Pimp:ThanX -

I have a R33 gts-t that's a bit modified and was looking a t getting a new clutch for it. My car is putting out 320hp at the wheels at 1.2bar boost at the moment and needs tuning so I want something that can handle at least 600hp@flywheel. It currently has an hks triple plate solid centre clutch which works great and never slips but the problem is that it makes the car hard to drive.... i either have to give it some revs and take off spinning the wheels a bit or ease it out very very slowly over about 5seconds. I was just wanting to know if anyone has a good clutch in their car that can handle this power without being too difficult to use that they can recommend. At the moment I am thinking about OS Giken or Ogura Racing Clutch Twin Plate Sprung Centre Clutches.I don't want to drag it with this clutch or do like 6000rpm+ launches just be able to still rev it out without the clutch slipping. Also does anyone in my area have a clutch of this type... i m in noosa on sunshine coast, qld. Thanks for any help Jamie:D
