i have the same high pitched noise coming from my car it comes around from the turbo area side but im not sure when u listen close up it sounds like the other side couple of people told me its normal and its possibly the powersteering pump i just checked the 4 bolts and locktabs on the turbo and they are very tight.. im guessing its powersteering pump that needs replacing or its just normal and im getting paranoid my noise happens when the car is warm, after a decent boost, then at idle you hear it whining and when you rev to 1500-2000rpm the whinding goes louder, but then u take it for a drive again and it disappears, then comes back and then disappears.. not to sure what to expect anyone else had this and replaced powersteering pump?

hi guys tried searching but no luck the r33 rb25det turbo stamped with 45v2, which motor would this be from? could anyone share some details on what particular specs of this type of turbo be.. i was told that it is from a 97 r33 s2 motor and that the r33 s2 turbos have nylon compressors or something along those lines? any information would be great

wanted rb25det turbo elbow with the 3 bolts dont know what its worth so give me a price? thanks cheers

im installing a HID kit so you think its H3C? i pulled the current globe out and its one filament, but its bigger than a H3C globe apparently (my mate has r31 with projector lights and says that the globe from my car is bigger than his one) would the H1 fit? i will see if i can test it.

anyone know if the r32 92 typem uses H4 type globes, or H1, H3 or H3C? not sure but i think that 1989 r32 gtr uses H3C but can anyone clarify what 92 typem r32 gts-t uses?

ok yes i meant the coil ignitor one, i've seen pictures of rb20det engine bays with the coil cover removed and the ignitor still there, but how is it securely mounted, or possibly its not even mounted just hanging, always wanted to know

um quick question when you remove the cover where the resistor pack is held to by 4 screws are you able to mount the resistor pack back without the cover there so that my coilpacks are exposed? im pretty sure that the resistor pack 4 screws go into the cover so there is no holes for them if you remove it or am i wrong?

mayhem had a gunmetal grey one i think, was chasing 350 from memory.. it was a original GTR one im pretty sure they dont fit straight on to GTST as they are wider, so best bet is go for a copy one like i have birdy

i had crap idle and fixed it: AAC valve cleaning, throttle body cleaning and also I had a inlet manifold gasket leak, so replaced that gasket and just perfect idle all the time now

yes there is minimal shaft play and when you turn it it grinds against the housing is it? like when i turn my rb20det turbo is spins freely but when i turn this one you can hear a small grinding sound.. oh well looks like its time to replace it again
