  1. hey all quick question about timing and PFC'S im pretty sure rb20 base timing would be 8deg? on my PFC handcontroller at idle its sitting on 15deg? would i take that as my base timing figure? os do have to get the timing light out coz it knocking and has been for ages up to 100knock :boxing: readings out the controller thinking if 15 is my real base timing i can afford to kmnock a couple a degrees out and save my motor abit of the punishment its coping now OH btw i got PFC,2530,poncams etc

  3. if its a standard a31 rear brake set up,its drum and disk inside the rear disk if t take it off u will find the drum brake set up
  4. yer i tryed that option on mine.... but mine was that far un adjusted it didnt matter what way i turned it i couldnt make the drum lock...found it easyer to take the drum off and do it coz i could see what way to spin it to make the shoes move out
  5. the way i did it was take the wheels off (if longchamps give them to softy) then i took the drum off...if the drum is hard to get off, ther is two small holes with thread tapped into em,in the centre of the drum.put 2 bolts that fit in there in and tighten em evenly that will force the drum off then once its open u will see the shoes and a rod with thread and a ratchet spindle thing in the center. turning that makes the shoes go in and out. so spin it around a bit so the shoes more outwards,do that a couple of times and try put the drum back on and see if it still fits. if so spin it some more to push the shoes out further once u get it so the drum wont go back on,spin the ratchet enough so u can get the drum back on. thats about it really tho if ur been a poxy poser and have been tightening the brakes from the handbrake lever inside the car back that off to and take the slack up with the shoes inside the drum hope that helps now wheres my dinner bitch
