confirm it for WA not just QLD were they are based

Hey Simon, i am unsure about the flow rates of FG injectors But the BA and BF turbo injectors are not much different in flow to stock Rb25 injectors. the seimens come in flows rates between 550 cc and about 800, or what ever 80lb is. i have the 60lb = 660CC. a page or 2 back you will notice i sent a link with a name with who to contact on the ford xr6t forums. my set cost $450+ consumables. regards Chris
-
and i quote from the first page. these $69 injectors, are they ford? or are they seimens? if there ford your wasting your time. as these are what ppl put into there fords. oh and i didn't want highflowed american injectors. i wanted some thing off the shelf. why do so many ppl pay $1200 for sard injectors? regards Chris Genuine Siemens / Mototron DEKA IV High Impedance Injectors These injectors flow 60 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI ( 3 BAR ) and up to 85 lbs/hr at 87 PSI! In addition, these units are high-impedance. Despite the high flow rate, they are linear and controllable at low pulse widths and have been used in ULEV applications! This allows you to use a larger injector than normally possible without hurting idle and low speed driveability. Adding to the flexibility of application, these units are high-impedance; making them compatible with most ECUs, while delivering the most flow available in a High-Impedance injector. These injectors are able to function at high fuel pressures and don't exhibit the high fuel pressure handling problems found with many other high flow high-impedance injectors. This makes these injectors very well suited to turbocharged and supercharged applications that see high fuel system pressures. Engine performance and running quality are enhanced through the optimized spray pattern. Unlike competitors "pencil stream" high flow injectors; these High Flow injectors utilize a multi-orifice tip providing a true 30 degree spray pattern for improved mixture preparation. This results in lower BSFC and better idle quality than many injectors with less flow. FEATURES: Genuine, reliable Siemens Injectors Excellent response characteristics Robust Design High Impedance Low Impedance performance characteristics with High Impedance Compatibility Specifications: Coil Resistance: 12.5 Ohms / High Impedance / High-Z (No ECM driver modifications required) Static Flow Rate @ 43.5PSI ( 300kPa ) w/Gas: 60 lb/hr = 630 cc/min = 453 g/min Static Flow Rate @ 87PSI ( 600kPa ) w/Gas: 85.7 lb/hr = 900 cc/min = 648 g/min Gain: 0.11ms/mg Offset: 0.055ms Turn on time @ 14VDC: 1.14ms Turn off time: 0.85ms @ 600KPa Connector: Bosch EV1 Orifice Type: Multi-orifice Spray Pattern: 30 Degree Spray Cone Factory fitted with Viton upper and lower o-rings Equivalent Part Numbers: Siemens FI114961 or 107-961 ( 107961 ) Mototron INJ-GAS-006 ( L107) Accel 74620L MSD / Edge 2030 MATING PARTS: For Mating Sensor Connector Pigtail, see: CONN-10655 - GM Delphi / Packard - Bosch EV1 Type Injector Connector Pigtail For Mating Sensor Connector Kit, see: CONN-10659 - GM Delphi / Packard - Bosch EV1 Type Injector Connector Kit For Mating Connector, see: CONN-10655 - GM Delphi / Packard - Bosch EV1 Type Injector Connector (connector only) For Mating Terminals, see: CONN-10657 - Delphi / Packard 280.1 Metripack Female Terminal ( 22 - 18 gauge ) [Pull to seat]

they are a direct fit ref the spec sheet on page 1. by direct fit u need to change plugs, spacers and depending on the way u install them may involve modding the fuel rail hoses. just keep an eye out as there is 2 spray patterns available, conical and pencil. Bubba u got PM. I'm reinstalling my injectors this sat, for a retune on monday.

ah excellant, i'll give the slotting idea a shot. Just so I'm reading you correct Stao. pull the actuator closed then go a futher 3mm? I'm thinking the response is mainly due to the rich tune and a lack of fine tuning due to the time frame. but i have to say SS8, yours comes on strong very fast. you don't run any cams do you? mine currently is like flicking a light switch and can only get better from what i can see. it would be interesting to know what sort of timing map Uras uses on the bottom half of the rev range. so far from what i have seen, i am extremely happy with Stao and the results. regards Chris
-
Howdy fella's, now after comparing my dyno plot I'm wondering how URAS got yours to wind up sooo early in the rev range. now i do know the Tune was a quick RICH tune so i could get it back on the road for a track day the next day. but saying this i would have not thought this would have affected the spooling speed so much. The car is a R34GTT with powerFC, Z32 AFM, R34 OP6 G3 highflow and will be retuned with my big injectors. when I installed the waste gate actuator it was preety damn tight, but should I take it off and slot the mounting holes further? if SS8_Gohan's was tuned with a Power FC with boost controller kit, would you be able to tell me what you have set the Gain to. and you wouldnt be interested in showing me the ignition map as well? I have a feeling that the dyno dyno does read lower then other's around but every time it has been tuned by hyperdrive and all ways on the same dyno. cheers Chris

hey, we had the tuning day on the thursday and it was p*sing down. it showed up every little handling fault and driver fault. although it was good fun bouncing on the limiter in 3rd gear. they told my work mate to leave after his exhaust fell off his bridge ported RX6. apparently it was all the ladies in the office could hear lol
-
hahah sweet your only just round the corner then. I'm in helena valley. I will probably aim for next weekend depending on when its getting retuned. regards chris
-
sure thing, i'll try to remember that, I'm in the hills tho, so it may be a fair hike for you where ever you live. regards Chris
-
PUSSEY LOL and Bubba yes I'm in perth, i think i have even seen your car around. chris
-
oh also he has access to 80 pounders too but they might be a bit extreme
-
hey mate, i installed mine and ran into problems while tuning and as to eliminate variables swapped back to stock injectors. i will put mine back in the next week or so when i can afford to chuck it back on the dyno. $450.00 for a set of 6 $30.00 worth of plugs $10.00 worth of machining up spacers and what every your labour is worth to you and any consumables or seals that you wreck i set the injectors to 60% and drove it to the HYPERDRIVE. but depending on your current tune and ECU you might get away with settitng them to 54% or what ever i stated above. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com PM a guy called "sticks" ask him really nicely and he will organise you a set he will even get you the plugs if need be. regards Chris
-
Hey Bubba, from what i could see. depending on the size of the solenoid/body of the injector and the o ring size i think it could be done quite easily. but only if they were preety skinny (clash on the side of the intake where its been machined). i cant see why you couldn't if i had an injector to test when i reinstall my seimens i would. worst case i could see is to remove the lower half of the intake and attack the casting with a die grinder. (not the machined sealing face) and wire it to suit. Regards Chris

Wiring Up Track Only Car Options

as i mentioned above, I had these small controll box's sitting there waiting to be packed. thought they would be a good example. In perth you could get these lights from RS-COMPONENTS, NUPHASE OR NHP. i'm not sure about the eastern states. they may be reasonably priced if you buy them with a trade order. regards Chris -
ok since found out my problems were completely unrelated. The resistors are more then likely not required. I had a faulty TPS sensor that was making the car do funny things. Regards Chris

Almost As Skyline, But Not Skyline

That is the toughest Lada I have ever seen. I still think a Lada Niva or a kia sportage with a SR20Det would make an unreal dune buggy. I want to go to Russia next year, but i think I am going to struggle with the language barrier. Vitalik do many people in Russia speak English? Regards Chris -
damn dude you should have gone in the group buys on the xr6Turbo forums. min were closer to about $80 each with plugs. did you take the top half of your intake off to fit? in retrospect i think that would have been alot easier and i wouldn't have had to cut and bend the pipes. i got mine installed and running the other day. but every time we loaded the car up on the dyno for some reason the injectors randomly cut power for a split second then turn back on. a sensor was put on the wiring too. It's odd. i can free rev the motor and drive the car around fine. I have since soldered in 2.8 Ohm resisters to bring it up close to the stock resistance. I am not sure if the power FC injector drivers were over heating or something in my Prins gas ecu freaking out. since doing this it does appear to be running a bit nicer esp when its hot. i towed my father in his navarra dragging the breaks at 4k rpm at 10psi and i couldn't get it to fault like it was. So here's hoping i don't need to pay for more dyno time to find out the problem is something else. it will be interesting to hear if your car tunes perfectly the first time space goat. Also just for any 1 wondering the injectors have been set to 54% +0.16MS Lag Chris P.S i just noticed you mentioned 9mm spacers. did they bolt down fine on that? now im curious if the injector is sitting too far out on mine. although i don't have any fuel leaks with using the 13mm spacers.

hey, the lights that you mentioned.......... i would look into some 1 who makes industrial control cabinets. -
i never even get on acknowledgement of my letter, that really P*ss's me off. here is a copy of my letter, please note i failed my lessons in diplomacy lol Dear Sir, It has recently come to my attention that you have introduced a new law regarding IM240 emissions testing. Firstly this did not bother me in the slightest, until the following things came to my attention. THERE IS ONLY 1 TESTING FACILITY IN WA THE PRICES THAT ARE BEING CHARGED TO PERFORM 1 TEST. STOCK STANDARD NEW CARS OFF THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR ARE FAILING THIS TEST. CARS ARE BEING YELLOW STICKERED FOR REASON'S COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO EMISSIONS AND HAVE BEEN SENT TO DO THIS TEST. I HAVE HEARD RUMURS THROUGH THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY THAT THE DEPARTMENT IS MAKING ANY COMPANY WISHING TO JOIN IN ON YOUR “GET RICH QUICK SCHEME” JUMP THROUGH AS MANY HOOPS AS POSSIBLE. NOW HOW IS THIS FAIR? I believe you and your office have completely missed the whole point with this law and done as little research as possible. The amount of people this will negatively affect is huge. There is very very few people that will be positively affected. Are you 1 of these few people? Myself and the majority of the public who could be affected would hazard a guess that you or some body else other then Kostecki's MUST be getting some form of payment out of this. A police officer only needs to suspect that a larger exhaust has been fitted. Joe Public has to spend a MIN of $770.00 alone at Kostecki's to prove his innocence. Lastly picture this. There is a HQ holden with rust through the doors and burns 1 liter of oil every month. Parked next to it is an immaculate Toyota Supra that the owner cleans, polishes and services the car regularly. the question i have for you is which car will be sent for testing first? You may say the HQ but in reality since your government has branded any thing Japanese as a hoon car I guarantee 9/10 cops will chase the Supra. Since the person takes such good care of the car, does this mean he has more money to waste on laws like this? As you can probably tell I am extremely annoyed by this along with a huge amount of other people and we all vote and remember things like this. Regards Chris

Launching With Traction Control
urtwhistle replied to cm712's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
if you have a GTT manual. the traction control shuts a 2nd butterfly in the throttle body. ie no air = no power = no wheel spin you will find that the car will bog down really bad, ie my 34 would actually stall if i dumped the clutch. I actualy ground down the traction controll butter fly a tiny amount so that when it was fully closed a small amount of air could still get past. ie not enough to fry the tyers but still enough to get the car moving. with a slight chirp of the tyres. chris -

i just did mine too, it angers me that we have to do this sort of crap

yeah its got a Prins LPG injection system on it too. it was the only way i could afford to drive the car every day. it should be interesting to see how it goes with the highflow and a retune regards Chris
