  5. Hi do you have either the AC fan or Ac condensor for the R34 or do you only have R33 parts??? regards chris

  8. im in for a r34 GTT stock front
  9. if you wanted to run two turbo's of different sizes to get instant torque you could do what a diesal mechanic mate of mine did. he had a land cruiser turbo diesal and sourced a small turbo off a small truck. made up a log style exhaust manifold that both turbo's were bolted to. then instead of running 2 waste gates he then welded up part of the opening of the small turbo so that it could physicaly only have so much gas pass through it. and being a gas it takes the path of least resistance. so it would spool the small turbo up pretty much at idle but once the revs got up it would force the big turbo because it cant push enough through welded up housing. if it spooled to quick he just welded the little turbo a little more, if it spooled to late he took a die grinder to it and opened it a little. this 4wd ended up being 1 of the most scary things i have ever been in. massive torque massive black smoke out the back with the most unreal turbo noise since the exhaust ended right under the drivers feet. I think this is how some truck's are setup. but then again there must be some reason why this is only done on trucks. chris
  10. completely incorrect. theres two ways about it. injected and carbied. if you go carbied it will loose power if its duel fueled. if its injected you will not loose any power at all. as i posted earlier do a search and go see a local gas fitter who can install a prinse VSI setup. you will not regret it regards chris
  11. do a search mate been done a few times now
  12. TRUE, well it does come down to who you know and what you can do your self. but 5 k minus 3k so not sooo bad.
  13. your kidding your self if you think it will end up costing $500. maybe if it was a falcon cos they make a standard bolt in kit. you dont end up with much change from 5k atlease here in perth we get 3k back from the government. but i reckon my setup has paid for it self.
  14. I thought about getting the floor cut out of my 34 but then the price just seemed to go through the roof. only problem is that it would like a SLR5000 with a drop tank. if you end up doing it and end up successful i might look at it again. then i could tune it for dedicated gas instead of ultimate 98. chris
  15. you wont be filling up every 100's i get 330k's out of 55lt's and removing the petrol tank is a stupid idea................. i already looked at that. there is no tanks unless u went custom that can be fitted in there. so do like i do, and dont carry a spare tyer unless your going out of the metro area.
  16. INTERESTING... shall be very interesting to see how much Gas flow you actualy get. as i went the Prins route and have maxed out my injectors at about 200rwkw. R34nur, interesting you say that. i dynoed nearly exactly the same power figures on gas, but while at the drags i would get say 25 nock on petrol but 7-12 on LPG. will be great when more people get into this sort of thing, it will make searching for problems alot easier. regards
  17. hmmm the blue thing you used to shift the angle. my dad made 1 of them up but a little more technical. he used a peice of c channel, blanked the ends off with plate. drilled holes in the plate at both ends. put a long peice of M16-M20 threaded rod through the full length and welded a big nut on 1 end. and on the inside he put to big lumps of steel inside and welded nuts on them i think. so all you had to do is put a rattle gun on the end of the rod and you could move the mounting points to any point along the shaft to get any angle. i'll take a photo if i remember to better descripe it. its sooo simple but sooo ingenious. chris
  18. hmmm I used Loctite hydraulic thread sealer 569. but i never used the stock hoses as they were all too long and i didn't fit the cooler core. just don't do what i did and get new lines made up out of Dufield hydraulic hose. its just way to hard and not flexible enough. for in a engine bay.
  19. im sure there great but, probly exspensive, in my R34 i just ground traction controll butter fly down a little which made it heaps more fun but not as unsafe as driving around with it turned off. but thats just me
  20. or you could do what me and the old man did last weekend. drop an angle grinder in there. chop half way through. the snap it off with the vice grips then put a normal socket on it. easy as pie
  21. hahaha same here, and do the maths 50L ultimate 98 @1.70 compared to 50L of LPG @ 64c , i know i will have my setup payed off very quick
  22. the octane has dropped a bit over the years but its still 100-105 im sure, so mines tuned hard for ultimate 98 soo its not that far off on the lpg. the problem with high HP and LPG is that you struggle to flow the gas out of the tank unless you run no gas lock offs or modified 1's both of whichis highly illeagle and bad when you catch fire
  23. yep little black hose behind the dash, sucks in air with a sensor. its just above your left knee in my R34Gtt
  24. RAV your comment is only relevent if you are doing an ancient carby install. i have LPG so do a search regards chris
