  1. Dont forget that toe and castor (front) changes when you change cambers. Best done on a good wheel alignment machine. Take it to a suspension place, or a motorsport tyre dealer, most run of the mill tyre shops are dodgy and dont care.
  2. R33 elbow sold
  3. As said, Newtons are the proper units for force. But if you do want to convert to something "real", 1kg = 9.81Newtons or 1Newton = 0.102kg
  4. Decent sized thread about it a while ago http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...53&hl=floor
  5. Mine used to look like that once! Now it's full of dents and mismatched panels... Everyone's going 25 damn it! I'm gonna be the only guy left with an R32 with a crappy RB20! Get some good shocks and some nice big thick adjustable swaybars and she'll be sweet
  6. If the HICAS computer is gone, it will not work as the computer controls what it does and when. The light isn't on because the computer sends the warning signal to the light. With my car the steering did go heavy after the computer was removed though... I dont think it's good to just leave the rack like that with no computer, I think there is a small amount of movement still in the rack.
  7. I've got an RB25 elbow for sale if anyone that buys this needs one
  8. I've got an elbow for $50 if you're keen to buy the turbo.

  10. What model Tein? Is that including the EDFC? If yes, then that's why they're so pricey, dont get it, it's simply not needed.
  11. But seriously, R33 rear shocks are far too long
  12. Trent: Could we have a little more info on the DRFT coilovers? If I'm not mistaken Top Secret get Aragosta to make their shocks, which are the Swedish Ohlins right? Does this mean we will be able to buy Sweedish Ohlins for $1700!?
  13. 3 week bump
  14. Have a look into getting the Bilstein shocks out of Sydneykid's groupbuy. They work very well and are valved to suit rates very close to the King spring rates.
  15. Yeah, smaller gap works better. I just use coppers in my car, BCPR6ES, I've seen a few people with R33s use these aswell with good results. For the $2.50ea or so they're worth, you should have a think about em
  16. The only people that could say they're good havn't used anything better... What were the tyres on your mate's rims? And were the rims real heavy things?
  17. Ah bugger, mine are different to yours though, mine are a turnbuckle style arm. But would only fit in one way anyway, one end is slightly wider than the other. Only thing I can think of is are the arms staggered the right way? As they look like ---> I they should be staggered so the upright is pulled foward as far as possible. The body end looks right, but cant really tell for the upright end. But seems a bit odd that the arms themselves would be around the wrong way...
  18. May sound stupid, but are the in the right way? I had this problem when I got my upper arms, turns out I put them in upside down, gave me lots of castor and not much camber. Flipped the arms around and can easily run 1deg camber at 350mm ride height with no issues of fouling.
  19. They're for the rear of the car. It's a traction rod, you need them and rear adjustable upper control arms to adjust camber properly. They have called them front upper arms because they are in front of the actual upper control arm (my guess).
  20. I got genuine on mine too and the fit isn't too bad, not perfect but will take small taps and bumps better than fibreglass. Do have to use the GTR reo though. I paid $300 for mine with a set of 4dr sideskirts, but that was an absolute bargain. Before that I did have a cheaper fibreglass copy though, but wasn't happy with it.
  21. You have double wishbone front suspension so adjustable strut tops are useless, they're to suit Silvias and other cars with Macpherson struts. You'd need the adjustable upper arm, but you should probably look into adjustable bushes if you dont intend on heavy track work. SK's groupbuy has them and I'd say they're cheaper than the Cusco arms.
  22. Ah k, I just thought it would have been similar to the low brake fluid light being the handbrake light, as there is no direct link to the handbrake and the brake fluid level either.
  23. So when the fluid in your p/s resevoir gets low the HICAS light doesn't come on? I thought it would be similar to how the handbrake light comes on when your brake fluid is low... It is for R32s anyway, could be different for R33s. Seems odd that they would change it though?
