  1. My money was deposited last night, just waiting for it to clear now
  2. Is your speedo working? Mine did the same thing on my R32 when the speedo stopped working
  3. Yes simple as lbs to kg and in to mm. Therefore, 1kg/mm = 56.44lb/in
  4. If you went from a +30 offset to a +15 offset, you will have 15mm MORE clearence from the spring, you will have to watch out for your guard.
  5. Or you can get the shoes rebonded for ~$60
  6. The KU15 is Kumho's top of the range street tyre where as the Hankook K104 isn't quite top of their range. Personally, I would go the KU15
  7. Yo, I got a perfect condition cat from my gts-t, I assume they're the same. PM me if you're keen

  9. A 2way in many ways is very simlar to a locked diff, so if you dont want a locked diff I would suggest 1.5way. Brand new Kaaz diffs can be had for $1050 delivered, and they include the bearings. All you have to do is get it put into the housing. 2nd hand mechnicals go for about 800-1000, but usually in housings already so just bolt in, so the question is, do you want to spend another 200-400 to get a brand newie? But with the brand new diff you do have to do break in, change oil a lot, etc. But you do have peace of mind.
  10. Have you checked the handbrake shoes? Proper way to adjust handbrake is to back it right off at the lever, then tighten it all the way at the drums so it doesn't move, and then back it off 4-5 clicks. Then tighten the lever up till it locks after 5-6 clicks.
  11. The alloy subframe bushes ARE to be used with the standard subframe bushes. They squash them down and prevent all movement of the rear subframe. The only bushes that require you to remove the original bush are replacement aftermarket bushes, i.e. Noltec Pineapples are not actually replacement bushes, they are there to help tilt the subframe and resist movement. And the smaller bottom bush does not require a cut in it at all, you take the nut all the way off, the other 2 at the other end will hold the subframe fine, just loosen them a little first.
  12. Thermostat? Did the temp start goin down as soon as you let it coast or did it take a while to go down?
  13. The Kaaz ones come with everything. Guy said it was damn easy to fit. Keep shopping around And if you can, take the diff out yourself, it's not hard, get a mate to help you though, its quite heavy...
  14. Is your cooling system bled properly?
  15. www.yellowpages.com.au
  16. For mid range performance oriented tyres, expect around $280 mark. For high performance tyres expect $380+
  17. I'm pretty sure 10mm is too small for bolt on. There isnt enough material for to be strong enough
  18. I got my diff centre installed for $80 It was the Kaaz 1.5 way that some people are doing for $1050 delivered. Comes with carrier bearings etc, so they just have to setup the lash and preload. They did want $550 if I just dropped the car off to them though, so took diff out myself. That was the cheapest price I could get though, but it was through a very well established comapny (Diff and Trans SA, been around since 1967). Other places were after 200+ just to put the centre in. Shop around
  19. But are the 2 surface areas the same? More surface area = more force
  20. Is it your stock steering wheel or an aftermarket one? Most aftermarket ones dont support the steering angle sensor
  21. You do not need the hicas computer after locking hicas and taking it out means saving a tiny bit more dead weight and ensuring the hicas warning light doesn't come on, but if you take it out, steering goes heavy (apparently it doesn't for some people, but it did for me and all of my friends). You can fix this by leaving the computer in and cutting the wire that sends the warning signal to turn on the hicas light. Here is my guide that I wrote when I locked my hicas
  22. Nah, standard spesc for R32 gts-t is 6.5deg +/- 0.75deg. I'm fairly sure GTRs have longer castor rods and hence less castor.
  23. I'm fairly sure that all 4 have +40 stamped on the back of them. I'll have to check with my mates rims, but I do remember looking on mine before I sold them and they were 5mm less than S15, which is +45 all round...
  24. I know that the R32 does have a gasket there, but I have been running an RB25 turbo without the gasket and havn't had any problems
