  1. you shouldnt have any trouble sliding that with stock r33 power. if you want the car more oversteery get a rear swaybar. there's someone selling a rear R33GTR swaybar for $40 on here, i know R32GTR rear swaybar is good upgrade for R32 GTS-t, assume the same for R33? might have to look into it
  2. excess bumpsteer can also be caused by excessive lowering what is the centre of rim to guard height?
  3. they post to you. credit card or paypal or direct deposit and then they post it to you just do that
  4. yep, mine was in awesome condition when i got it. a lot of trackdays later, i can hold one wheel and turn the other... shes rooted...
  5. all explained here
  6. it locks your hicas. which is your rear wheel steering. its a very annoying thing on nissans as it is slow to react and makes the car very unpredictable near the limits i wrote a guide on how to install it and there are a couple of other guides in the DIY section
  7. oh, yeah, i have seen non adjustable upper arms with ball bearings in them. i have some but theyre adjustable are you really that bothered with the camber? how much do you have?
  8. yep, they will fit. it is a little odd that you cant adjust rear aftermarket upper arms. i am assuming you're talking about rear as you dont get heaps of camber from lowering it on the front. but the guy is right, if they have spherical bearings, you cant replace these with bushes. perhaps you could post up a photo of the arms?
  9. for starters you cant get camber tops for skylines (R32 onwards) because they use double wishbone suspension. changing the angle of the strut has no effect on the angle of the hub. you need adjustable upper arms, or upper arm bushes to adjust camber. as said by the previous 2 guys, G4 are crap. these sort of coilovers are made to a price target and nothing else. so you get a really crappy unresearched shock. the bilsteins on the other hand are amazing Group Buy Why good shocks are better than cheapies
  10. well you can use aftermarket arms for gts-t and gtr im fairly sure they are the same. if you are just gettin them to put bushes in and make them adjustable, it will be fine
  11. awesome, no worries. will get this done soon cheers for the help guys
  12. arent mechanical diffs illegal? (just thought any sort of mod was illegal ) or should i get a tradeplate and do it late at night and then tell the cop its a track car? and did you guys put shitty tyres on the back for it? or didnt it make much difference with wearing your tyres
  13. when you're stretching a tyre on a rim, you are using a skinny tyre that is too skinny for the rim. ie, not very wide. so you could get a much wider tyre on such a rim. just a commonly used example, a lot of people stretch 215/45R17 on 17x9, ive done this too. now, with a 9" rim you can fit 255/40R17 on there no worries. now going by the rule of thumb that the width is in mm, you now have ~19% more rubber on the ground. thats a fair bit! given you will have a bit more flex as the sidewall is slightly taller (5mm) and you arent stretching it, but i would rather go for the more grip personally. even for drift, means you have more grip and can go a lot faster, and hold bigger entries. on standard rims i've run 225/50 and 205/55, and i liked the 205/55s much better. given it probly wasnt a fair test because i ran good yokohamas in the 205/55 and run of the mill 225/50s, but the 225/50 just felt a lot sloppier
  14. tyreflex less tyre flex makes it more uncomfortable but makes the car a lot more predicatble. but once you start stretching tyres enough, you are sacrificing the amount of tyre you are gettin onto the road for small difference in tyreflex. most people do it for the look
  15. Rowdyr32: ive sent you a couple of PMs, but no reply, have you still got the rims? has anyone else got a pair?

    1x Avs Rim

howdy, i bought 3 rims and i wouldnt mind havin another to make the set its 17x8 +32 or so, will check properly soon looks like this prefer adelaide buyer, but not fussed with interstate buyer, i will organise all freight cheers
  17. ah k i was reading on the kaaz website (im getting a kaaz 1.5way) that i should do the figure 8s. have you had any problems with not running the diff in with figure 8s?
  18. no, youve got me wrong. i probly didnt write it clearly figure 8s as in driving around (not spinning the wheels) to bed in clutch plates
  19. ^^^GTR rims are 16x8 +30 all round, so front and rear are the same
  20. just wonderin where you guys go to run in your mechanical diffs. random car park at night? has anyone ever been approached by a cop doin this? what was your excuse for doin this? cheers, showza
  21. just replace it when something goes wrong. ive heard from a lot of sources that R33 front tie rods fit and they are much thicker
  22. well mine didnt wanna start too well with a 25000km pump, but with the aftermarket GTR pump it definitely got worse
