I'm fairly sure SK meant semis dont like anything more than 7kg/mm at the wheel (wheel rate), and as all the skylines have a motion ratio pretty close to 1 (1:1 movement between shock and wheel), the spring rate can be considered the wheel rate.

^^^ Spot on, different cars usually have different motion ratios, so what the wheel centre and the spring see in motion can be different for different cars. Unless you know the motion ratios for both cars, it's useless comparing spring rates between them.

New Year's bump

Pull the struts out, 2 nuts on top and then 1 nut/bolt on the bottom per corner. Compress the springs so the spring's no longer touching either the upper or lower spring seat. Then on the top of the shock shaft, there will be a bit that's machined flat, hold that with a shifter or right sized spanner, and undo the nut on the shock shaft (on top of the strut top). Carry all the bushes/washers/strut top/spring over onto the new shock in the same order and do the reverse to put it back together.

Stock RB20DET injectors are supposed to be around the 270cc/min mark, not 370. GTR injectors will max out at around the 260-270rwkw mark.

Need to know offsets for anyone to help you.

Bump Stuff needs to go, need money to fund new bottom end build. Willing to swap for rings or bearings to suit RB30. + appropriate cash adjustment May also consider swap for some gauges (electric water temp and/or oil temp)
