  1. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=72923 look around in there
  2. ah k. so there is no real performance difference between the noltec urethane bushes and say whiteline pineapples then? if i were to go pineapples, i would leave the subframe neutral, and i work in a workshop so have access to hoist and other stuff. just wanna know if it would be worth it to have noltec bushes. my current subframe bushes are fine at the moment (not rooted)
  3. if the bar is too long the string that connects to the 2 front wheel alignment heads touch the kit and put the reading out. you have to go somewhere that has a better wheel alignment machine that uses lasers instead of strings
  4. i was just wonderin if there is much difference in performance from using pineapples and replacing the actual subframe bush. has anyone tried both? im guessin the actual bush would be better, but bit of a pain to install
  5. sheesh, didnt think the rack was that heavy. all the lines and solenoids and sh*t can come off if the normal rack is locked with shims cant it?
  6. how thick are the shims?
  7. ok, so ive been wonderin about lockin hicas on my gts-t with shims like the tomei kit supplies what size shim do you need? are lock bars really that much lighter than the old rack? and after the rack is locked up im assuming you can take all the lines etc off it?
  8. yeah theyll fit, minimum thickness is 16mm... or 18, pretty sure 16 though
  9. nope, stock boost on an r32 is that much if you wanna lower boost, you have to change to a different actuator, r33 runs like 6psi or something
  10. ive wondered this aswell, would be interested to find out
  11. i cant believe this is still here... if i had an rb25 i would be snappin this up, doubt an rb20 could spool it very well...
  12. only way i can think of is bolt on spacers. you really shoulda got wheels to suit better...
  13. get sydneykid's springs, shocks and swaybars, and a castor kit that should be just about $2000 and should handle damn well
  14. i know a couple of people runnin the KKR-430, they are very happy with it (rb20 too), a little laggy, but theyre still stoked from the price. i do think the power rating of 430hp is a bit rich though personally i dont want one... would rather something else
  15. yeah they fit, the exhaust on my gts-t is a gtr one, couple of the hangers had to be modded though
  16. pretty sure rb25 water pump doesnt bolt up to rb20, a couple of holes dont line up or something no idea about flow...
  17. thats pretty expensive... they dont take long to install, bout 30mins in a workshop. they will supply the bushes and then charge you full rrp instead of the price they got them for, but they will include a wheel alignment with this. your probly better off buyin the bushes in the group buy, takin them the bushes and tellin em to put em in and wheel align the car should only be ~$40 for the labour and ~$60 for the wheel alginment
  18. tune? i got a normal remap and it used to idle like crap but then sam retuned it on a dyno and made it idle a hell of a lot better. i used to have the same problem on the track, give the car a lot of stick and then come to a halt and the car would stall, would have to use the accelerator a little to keep it form stalling
  19. yeah, top end power does drop off a bit too fast. with my rb25 turbo i have the same amount of power at 8000rpm as i do at 5350 rpm. most probly due to your runnin a lot more power than me... i only pulled 156rwkw on the dyno in adelaide that sam used that reads low. very interested in this turbo though, was lookin at it a while back cos i saw a dyno sheet with a very linear response but still had lots of top end poke. hks kit is a bit expensive though, might go the highflow (gt2871r) in the rb25 housing, .63 a/r, should be pretty darn similar
  20. the guy from horsepower in a box told me the stock vg30 (R34) housing is around 0.70, so that would most likely explain the comin onto boost heaps later etc
  21. front or rear? for front your probly best off goin through the yahoo auctions, thats where i got mine, couldnt find any in aus for sale
  22. if anyone has some good condition front coilovers, PM me have cusco zero2 in the rear now, and tanabes in the front, fronts are rooted... adelaide only, cant be stuffed with postage and would like to inspect first cheers, showza
