  1. nah, i had them on the front a few months ago, still good and grippy can inspect if your in SA
  2. 205/55R16 yokohama a539 75% tread left awesome tyres $150 ono for the pair just want em gone, have no other use for em. PM me if keen, pick up only unless you organise all the freight
  3. AFRs of 12-13 are pretty lean. would give more power, but probly not the safest thing in the world. also probly a happy dyno as said before
  4. theoretically if you have a higher final gear it means that your drive shafts, wheels and what not are spinning a little bit slower. this should mean that you will have a TINY bit more power as there is less power lost through the spinning of these components. this difference is incredibly small though. dyno runs done in different gears dont have much difference in power outputs and these have a much larger difference in gear ratios dont think its worth worrying about.
  5. his turbo will still be a good upgrade for your rb20
  6. i dont think choppin a coil out would be the best idea... your tryin to get things stiff, choppin springs isnt gonna do that.
  7. pretty sure theres nothing wrong with leaving those brakes on with an rb25. im sure the engineer that does your certificate will find those brakes fine and thats what matters, what the engineer thinks im assuming you will be gettin it engineered if you want it to be legal...
  8. yeah, just weld the internal gate closed. but yeah, just get a good low mount manifold and leave it internally gated.
  9. you wont have camber adjustment from coilovers, cos skylines have double wishbone suspension instead of macpherson strut. get sydneykid's group buy on suspension how much is your budget to lower your car?
  10. yep, 16mm bigger in diametre, thats it. same as R32 gtr, except a little thinner (30mm instead of 32mm) keep in mind that R33s are a lot heavier than R32s, and a bit more power, hence slightly bigger brakes. type m brakes are fine, dont bother upgrading, just get good pads now
  11. new rotors, new calipers, if you took em off yourself, youll be able to put em back on just fine. not much point though, 8mm larger in radius, the resulting braking torque increase wont be that much more... probly not worth it if you have a type m already
  12. NA ones are top feed aswell arent they? instead of sidefeed for the turbo ones
  13. as in too stiff to adjust the spring seat? if it is, get some spring compressors and then itll be easy.
  14. thanks heaps shanef, that helps so much. can get rid of all that extra crap now! haha
  15. Skyline model = R32 gts-t 4dr Wheel diameter = 18" Wheel width = F:8 R:9 Wheel offset = +30 all round Tyre size = 235/40/18 all round Modifications to fit = none on the back, lipped the guards on the front ROY: you should fit them on the front. ive got about 35mm of clearence to the guard with 18x8 +30, and you need an extra 20mm to fit 17x9 +22. so with the steering wheel straight they should fit. the rears will fit cos they will stick out 8mm more than mine and ive got about 20mm clearance from the guard with 235/40R18s. if your lip is gone, then 255/40R17 should fit, if not stretch 235/45R17 and you want 225/45R17 for the front, not 225/40R17
  16. VL water pumps are definitely the same as rb20det water pumps. i used one when i did mine, bolted straight on. my mate from ultratune said they dont fit rb25s though... which i thought was a little odd, but i dont know. those copper plugs fit rb20 too
  17. the rb turbos have ceramic wheels. the flanges are different, T3 instead of T28 as mentioned before nothing will bolt up, questionable power increase. definitely not worth the money of gettin manifold modded, lines, dump pipe etc. and your goin from ball bearing to non ball bearing. T3 is not a turbo, it is a flange
  18. have you checked that your afm plug is in properly? i had this problem with my 32, cos i didnt have a bracket for the pod, the pod & afm were flying around and it bashed the plug loose... pushed it on properly and ran perfectly
  19. did you just comment on your own comment? and go have a look at sponsors, people sellin the AP engineering ones for $1400 brand new delivered. some are doin it even cheaper too
  20. get the 80mm. it bolts straight onto your afm ive got the same one, im happy with it
