What's the temp range on the pads? Mallala isn't too kind on tyres, especially with lots of heat, if you can, see if you can get a set of second hand semis. I got a set from North Terrace Tyres before for $100 each with heaps of tread, so if you can afford it, it's a good idea.

You really do not need a lightened flywheel. For a street car, the stock flywheel is better. Get onto Kudos Motorsport for an Exedy clutch. The bushes are wider in the GTR caster rods, 82.5mm instead of 70mm IIRC.

The stock RB20DET ECU should run it fine, I've got one running my R32 RB25DE head. Would suggest a tune though as the RB25DE+T will breath a lot more air down low than the RB20DET ECU would expect.

You're putting less rubber to the ground, so you're throwing away grip really... Maybe a little bit of stretch helps minimize sidewall flex and gives a more direct feel and improve predicability, but heaps of stretch like 225 on a 10" rim is pretty damn pointless.
