how does the 8500 to 9500 for rb26s compare to rb20s or 25s and sr20dets? also, to what extent does the longer throw of a rb30 limit the revs acheivable?

oh, yeah. sorry. there is a funny flat switch/button - similar to the ones on some eftpos machines - that comes with it. it has a brightness and color adjustment on it.so it can be as bright and ufo-looking as you want it to be.

the combo youve described above should get you close to 300 in a skyline. assuming the drivetrain losses are the same you should be nearly there. you'll be struggling to get more than that out of the standard turbo though. s/hand t3/4?? either way, I would like a ride in a 350 rwhp silvia.

I can't remember which company it was - but there was a link to their list and details on what is involved. as you can see, it's a pretty major service - not just a timing belt change. best to probably ring a few (reputable) shops and ask for a few quotes.

the timing belt itself isnt that expensive - i think you can get it done for about $500. but there's a extra-major-massive service that should go with it - which could easily set you back 900 to 1200 depending on who does it. I will try and find a link to what is entailed.

well - to answer the nizmo reply, the answer is probably no. the EL doesnt have a bulb, from what I saw. its a sealed array of very small LEDs.. so its green or blue.
