Hey pplz Yesterday I went shopping for a sub and ended up talking to a few ppl about my r34 etc. one of the blokes ended up flutering my turbo to make the sequential noise which I think sounds quite nice. All he did was unplugged a hose from blowoff valve and put a screw in there. He said that for rollerbearing turbo its fine as he has r34 turbo on his r33 and hes done the same. Should I keep it this way or is he wrong and this could damage my turbo among other things? please someone let me know =) thanks guys

Ok so far I've recieved mixed opinions on this matter. Most seem to think its a bad thing to leave the snorkel off for hot air comes into engine instead of cold, hotter ait makes turbo heat up faster etc so it seems its not the best idea. I put the snorkel back on. Now, how can I achieve a really noisy WHOOSH sound? blow off valve? pod filter? wat are my options to do this properly and still have the nice suction noise?

Yea seems like hot air is bad but as long as it doesnt cause harm to the engine then who cares if i lose a bit of power? I'm just scared that its bad for the engine thats all... if so then tell me concretely whether it is bad or not so I know. Also, i washed a KN filter with some blue filter cleaner and i ued a dryer to dry it which is a bad thing stated by K&N website. When you aplply to Oil to the filter, should it dry first or its fine to have it all oily as thath makes more sense....??

so basically the only problem with doing this is that the filter may pop out of its nesting? Mate told me to simply get a couple of clamps and that'll do the job or even glue it, tho thats obviously not as practical lol I was going to get a full blown pod air filter and clamps and BOV but i'm more satisfied with this sound so as long as its no problem for the engine then i'm more then happy to keep it this way...

Hey guys and girls its been a while since I posted here. Just bought myself a gorgeous black R34 GTT. I put in a K&N rectangular air filter and took off the induction plastic cover so the car makes very loud induction noise (and so it does and I'm lovin it), however I am just wondering if this is a safe thing to do and will it do any damage to the engine? the engine is a NEO 6 and triptronic transmission. my r32 veilside front bar is 2 piece. The bottom lip is detachable and when u put it on make sure you tighten the bolts to the shithouse before putting the front bar on because if it gives in - its a pain

it would look better on a darker car like gun metal or black i think.... ugly on silver

Hey ppl Side skirts and rear quarters for coupe (2 door) R32 in pretty good condition just need to be resprayed to whatever colour for matching car. Currently R32 white. Rear bar currently R32 gunmetal grey. Side Skirts: $150 Rear Quarters: $80 Rear Bar: $80 One of the rear quarters needs to putiet as it has a crack underneath which is not noticable when on the car. I am not really willing to negotiate as I am letting these go very cheap and they are genuine items not fibreglass replicas but if you have a near good offer, let me know. Thanks guys

how much is it to retrim the whole interior (exclusing seats) on r32? how did u manage to put GTR rear guards on a GTS? was it welded on?

hey 2 GU UP i just checked out your images. Is the dash painted or is it leather retrimmed? How hard is it to take the dash off and if leather re-trimmed did you do it yourself or someone pro? Thanks for opinions guys. I think I will go for something yellowish/gold like 5, 6 or 16. Just bought some yellow/black leather sports seats so thats the way to go. As for rims can it handle 19s or 20s without busting and ripping the guards from inside? I got TEIN suspension lowered I think 2 inches but is adjustable. How much could I get trade-in for my current 17s do you guys think?

hey boys and girls I am currently adding all the exterior styling bits and pieces onto the car and will shortly do a respray once all is done. Few things still have to be done like bonnet, grill, extended and modified guards, flip up doors and maybe new deep dish rims but that will not affect the color decision anyways. Can you guys give me some opinions on wat colors will look good as I am trying to collect as many thoughts. I made a comparison image in photoshop so feel free to check it out and tell me wat u think... =) thanks guys
